Just putting it out there as an FYI. These shanty sings seems to be in various places, but in Fells Point the second Wednesday of each month. (and walking distance from work for Madame Macaw and myself!) Not sure if it is considered a "garb" occasion, will get back on that one, have a few questions out right now... Alright shipmates.... Fair Katey and I are getting everything ready for pirate weekend at fair. I have read a lot of the post and can see who is planning on coming. I understand there is an encampment and social planned for after fair, wich sounds great also. Unfortunatley, Katey and I will not be able to attend. We are still planning on a little get together here at the house for all interested. It be time for the Goldcoast Pirate Faire at Ojai again, Sept 25th & 26th 2004!! ARRRRRRRRRRRRR!! Tales of the Seven Seas will be out in force this year, with a large band o' pirates!! Any more of the SCA pirates here going to KWAR in Austin, TX? I'm looking at the schedule and there is some great combat info, particularly from the late Elizabethan English point of view. Looking forward to learning some new techniques for sidesword, too. Hawkyns

I am going to the Kansas City ren Faire the weekend of Sept 11th- 12th. I will be around at least one of the pubs, prolly the one with the two stories.. ( town hall pub??) I would love to meet up with some of the Pirates of the Plains while there. Let me know if you will be there..

Argggggggggggggggggg!! I just booked me passage to California for this wonderful event!! It came to Florida 2 years ago for the first time in like 10 years..(down the street from my house too!!) I still remember how me and the family swelled up with tears when we pulled up and saw the great tallships sailing in against the sunlight!! All you could see was their sillouette (sails and all) against the bright light. It was breathtaking. I didn't get to see all the festivities.. it is going to be different this year!!! Sniff sniff.. A last resort here for anyone around the Chicago area willing to jump on the bandwagon with a fellow PotC fan named Toby who does a fantastic Jack Sparrow ( who, btw, will be doing a gig with NECA to help promote & released the new PotC Merchandise). Greetings Ye Rogues, A'right, my job has me goin' ta th' Virginia Air & Space Museum from the 15th to the 25 o' Sept. Ahoy... all I know I have been away for a while and I am trying to get back... But I would like to throw this out to any that wants to join our monthly gatherings... On September 3rd ( friday) At Frankies Restraunt and bar in Westbrook they will be having a father/daughter Irish Duo at thier bar and thought what a great way to end the summer... on the shore, rum, a quaint bar, rum and a roof top patio, rum, good food, and did I say rum....
