The "pirates harrassing the builders" segment will be filmed on this Wednesday, at 2:30 pm. Filming will probably take about 1 hour, so you might want to arrive a little early to have time to park and find the right house. Come in garb, and bring swords or other weapons to poke at the builders with and threaten them. Bring costumed friends if you can. Monster House wanted lots of pirates. No one has yet told me they are bringing a parrot. The Monster House people were hoping parrot…

Ahoy, On August 13 and 14 pirates will invade the small town of Havre de Grace in the colony of Maryland. Unfortunately for the pirates, the local militia has been tipped off, which will result in a great deal of gunfire and swordplay. So, come cheer on the pirates!!!

It's the 28th and the 29th of this month. Anyone going? I've gone to it twice so far and most likely will go again. My sister's birthday is the 27th, so I usually buy her admission as a birthday gift to her.

I need to spread the word about this, since some of my dearest friends and relatives are involved. It's the Northern California Renaissance Faire (formerly..the Renaissance Pleasure Faire). There's far to much information for me to post in one go...so, I'll be brief and just send you here instead!

I don't know if anyone would be interested, but I'm going to post about this because my crew does this on a weekly basis. My crew is directed towards those in alternative lifestyles, and about 3/4 of them are gay. One of them told me about a free bingo night at a local bar in Dallas. Unfortunately, after a few weeks going to that, the crew member who told me about it (and was the only one that went out of my crew besides myself) had to move. But, since it was free and had real prizes(and people who weren't gay went there too. There's a nice contengent of heterosexual people that go to their free bingo.), I continued to go with the crew's historian(who's also my roommate)…

Those of you in the Southern California/valley or LA area, Big Bear is not that far a drive. It's about 2 hours plus from Los Angeles, and it's very scenic. The faire seems to be very big and very lush. They boast events like Shakespeare plays, jousts and live steel battles. I know Big Bear is a huge camping area, so I hope to camp out there for the weekend. Website here. Anyone else planning to go? Captain Wolfy Wench
