Ahoy aloft and Alow, At the end of January, members of our crew inquired with Loyalist Arms & Repairs as to whether they had any Early British Sea-Service pistols in stock. We were expecting a wait, and scrambled to get an order together for 5 of them when we learned they had them in stock, in .64 caliber (they offer them in .62 and .64). Once they recieved the money, Loyalist assured us that it would be a matter of a few weeks time, as they had to assemble and fit and finish the pistols in their shop, as their normal custom for quality control. Three weeks later (there were a few unavoidable delays, due to minor family crisis and weather), the pistols arrived on m…

I ordered me cutlass about two months ago (I hate 'avin to use snail mail) an she finally arrived. She's not pretty an' fancy, but she 'as a good strong blade o' carbon steel. She's just plain an' deadly, like me. An' well worth the $57.00 I paid. I got her from Allenbey's, they 'ave a good collection of pirate replicas at very good prices. http://www.lovethosegifts.com/level.itml/icOid/4413

My good old fiddle! Well, I be sellin' a friend. Havn't been using it the last year and am planning to sell it to a good home. If'n I don't get a bite here, it'll be ebay next. It's a Lewis & Sons, David Model 168. It was made in 1995. There are a few small cosmetic scratches. Otherwise it's in great condition. This is a good model for a serious student. It comes with a fiberglass bow and one of them fancy featherweight type cases. I'm selling it cheaper than music stores would sell it for. If you're interested, please email me at cornettokid@excite.com and I'll give you more info. -Blackeye Susan

For those interested in firearms from militaryheritage.com there is a great discussion of them over on muzzleloadingforum.com. From the discussion over there, they seem to be of pretty good quality. Here is the link to the topic. http://www.muzzleloadingforum.com/ubbthrea...sb=5&o=&fpart=1

I'm looking for good period piratical boots. They need to withstand the scruitiny of historical nazis for 1600s time period. The kicker... besides being wonderfully historical... preferably no more than $150.

Ok this this thread is a continuation of one I started in plunder. Deacon the reason Her Majesties degree prevented privateers from fitting out in England was two fold. 1 It not only prevented them from bringing in their prizes but also had provisions against outfitting privateers so crossing the sea to get weapons was a mute point if you had to sail home to bring in your prizes. 2 The confederate laws for the issuing of letters of mark required that they be inspect by a person authorized to issue said letters of mark and that they be already fully equipped. For these reason confederate privateers did not at any time fit out in Europe. They were only effective…

Finally after 5 very long weeks my Jack Sparrow coat arrived today from Carliles. There's one small flaw, I was at an AA meeting when the USPS stopped by so I have to wait a whole nother day to get the the thing from the post office tomorrow. I guess one more day is not going to kill me. The thing that might actually cause a heart attack is when I go out and intentionally age it while dragging it behind my truck on the beach. I might even use a little sun to slightly lighten up the fabric.

Hello Boyos and Girlos, I'm cleaning out my jewelry box of things that I've never worn. Some things I bought tried on once, and was too lazy to return or mail back, and this is one of them. I bought this beauty from the Metropolitan Musuem via their site and tried it on decided I didn't care for it on me. It's beautiful and heavy, on a small curb link chain. This is their discription of the item: "This cross is adapted from a design in The Grammar of Ornament, a theoretical treatise in which Owen Jones (British, 1809–1874) illustrates decorative styles from a multitude of artistic traditions, ranging from Celtic sculpture to Islamic architecture to Oriental…
