OK... SO I'm kinda late posting this..... it's this next weekend.... and it's only a Renn. faire that Tale Of the Seven Seas sets up a camp at..... But they do let us fire off a lot O black Powder (ask Red Handed Jill to tell th' story 'bout th' jugglers....) Anyway..... anyone in the kinda lower part of Northern California... or th' Northern part of Southern California...... (Fresno)..... Heck.... we'll be thar........ (just listen fer th' bangs and booms......)

The KC Contraception Con has a pirate theme for their '08 convention in Independence, MO! The con usually takes place in early Nov. and is adults only! (21 and up) I'l be reserving rooms for the weekend so if ye'd like ta join me crew, drop me a line. I'll be posting more info as I get it if'n ye want ta bring yer own crew.

Perhaps a bit early in the game to post this, and perhaps this event falls a little late into the 1700s for most of you here, but Old Fort Nigara will hold it's French & Indian War Encampment on July 6th - 8th, 2007. Several of us from the crew of the Watch Dog are planning on attending this event. Description... It's that time again... The Kearny Park Faire is a great faire - Tales of the Seven Seas will be joining a number of other groups in the Bedlam area, where we will be wreaking havoc. I really recommend this faire - it's in a great location and the folks who run it are terrific to work with and very pirate friendly!

Ahoy. This fall, on Saturday, November 4th, the Lockhouse Museum in Havre de Grace will be hosting a Pirate Raid. This will be, as far as I know, the biggest gathering of Pirate and Golden Age of Piracy reenactors ever held in the mid-Atlantic region. If you are a reenactor interesting in attending, please contact me for more info. Hopefully we can make this the best, most authentic, pirate event yet. The Texas Renaissance Festival runs October and November at Plantersville, Texas, and it is a phenomenal event. The fair ground are permanent, and the festival has been in place for over 20 years so it well established and highly popular. People come from as far away as Dallas to this Houston area fest. Just letting everyone know, the Central Florida Pirate Festival is now the Florida Pirate Festival. The same great show! but a much better sounding name. The dates for the 3rd Annual Festival are November 18, 19, and 20th 2005. Much advertising, more props, bigger cast, and some of the best stage entertainment will make this year kick butt. OK, ya lot... here's the info that Toby forewarded to me concerning the Thanksgiving Day parade: They have also just added us to the Thanksgiving Day parade, National syndication; available in approximately 90 million households. Not only that, but we will be positioned directly ahead of Santa Claus (they're saving the best for last). They're going to have a horse drawn carriage, with 4 of us up in it, some troopers flanking it, and maybe a few people in the crowds, handing out more of those bloody glasses. lol The glasses are of the kind you wear.
