There was a topic thread started once called Belly Dancing Pirates. I can't remember the gal's name that started it and I could not find any old old posts nor search's. I wanted to post a link here for her or any other's who are interested in that type of clothing to mix and match into their Ren Faire garb or Pirate Garb (sometimes I do). I love the Ghawazee coats and found today a fantastic site that had some. I made myself one for the Labyrinth Ball and was very very pleased with myself on how it came out. It almost looks like the gold on on this website. Ghawazee Coats

Hey now...they might be actually good! Oh and Patrick the "Ladies of the Eve" that are friends of Jack are coming back for a big part in POTC 3....!!!!

Josh, yes by all means I hope they don't run it into the ground. But by the looks of things they seem to making them better, so let's hope they keep the same spirit up. With good writers and good effects and great actors anything can be achieved, and there are so many supernatural aspects that can be played upon. Heck perhaps mermaids...wink!

Rumba, Does the DVD package tell you anywhere to do this? I mean how would anyone know about this unless you or some other soul would tell us about this..hmmm? (scratching head)

Oh my just caught this post. I bought the XXX one last year because the poster in the Adult store was so alluring, yes I was a sucker to pay $69.00. (I go there to buy hosiery...yes hosiery). Well me and b/f started to watch it and I had to stop it when the pyrates are standing around...yes Piratesse there are girl on girl scene's...a girl on girl scene...not because of the girls...but the pirates standing around watching saying arrrrhh its good to be a pirate..arrrrrh...that was well too much for me....! We still need to watch the movie again and watch it to the end. A couple of weeks ago while in Blockbuster I did see that and told my b/f he said noooo can't be. Next time I went it I looked at the video and yes it was the same, but from the accounts I am reading here it is an R version. After we watch the XXX one I will rent the R to see the dif...

I have read on some websites interviews with Kiera and Orlando that they are not interested in going further (perhaps after POTC3). Johnny on the other hand said he was interested in continuing in his character. (yippeeeee!)

I was trying to find something about Davy Jones in POTC 3 and found this pic of the Flying Dutchman. If you purchased the 2 DVD set for Dead Man's Chest and have listened to the Audio Commentary from the 2 writers they mention that the director (I believe it was) wanted to have the front of the ship constructed for the shots when it surfaces from waves look realistic. Great job to the Disney crew for this mockup Photo of Flying Dutchman

Captn Hellraiser, Have you done any work on your basement Pyrate bar yet? The previous suggestion of using a map encased under the marine varnish/resin for your bar sounds great. I don't know the map the previous poster mentioned...but an olde map of the world sounds terrific...like the one being painted on Beckett's wall. If you have room you can add more trinkets within the resin such as coins as you mentioned, old love letters, lyrics to pyrate/sailing songs on parchment in olde english, smaller treasure maps drawn on leather for example, pictures of old sailing ships, pictures of chests, pictures of old sea sailors, pictures of tatoos, old rings, pearls, dried kelp/seaweed, sand and/or shells, compass. I don't know if you live along a coastline..but in the old days you could find a gazilion things at the Sea Shell shops. Of course distress any or all to make look old as another poster mentioned as well. Those glass sea floats are great...pricey as well!!! Keep us abreast....

Oh I saw that listing a long time ago...did not think they could manage to do it but they did...or are...continuing. Anybody know if they are selling Jack's compass but actually works as a compass? WOW...window clings...like the ones on the liquor cases? Those are the best clings...lucky sea dawg!
