  1. I was there, me an me beau got there I am guessing around 6 and it was still hot. I think I saw a bunch of you there, I think at the table in the back of the restaurant. We were kinda stumbing around the place not being familiar with the grounds and such. We enjoyed the Pillage people at the stage and then later the cannon fire was wonderful to hear and see. Perhaps again next year with a bigger group of comrades. Whew was it hot even at 9!
  2. well we'll be getting there just about at 4:00 to meet the pyracy.com folk and then stay for the eve...should be cooler when the sun goes down around 7:45 to 8:00.
  3. Capt. Mac., I dug around in me drawers were I store antique silk scarves and boiled it down to one for me beau to wear to the fair this weekend. It is mostly white with a tiny black paisley design with faint pink and lt. blue, and show's it's age. It has a soft color and texture to it and even a bit of a teensy few holes in the ends, just to make it look ragged enough for a seadawg to be sportin. If you don't want that new bandana look check second hand or antique shops and peruse the silk scarves you may find one that has a more period or aged feel to it.
  4. Okay still meeting up at the PRP encamp. at 4:00 on Sat? (just making sure it didn't get changed...lmao...! ) I have one more question to the folk who have been at this fairground before. I know most fairegrounds are dirty and dusty and little pebbles and such, will this be like the rest, or can we wear our finery?

  6. ...so here's my concern when I was tying me beau's silk scarf on his head, after taking the two diagonal edges and tying the knot, what do you do with the center point material, do you make sure it is tied into the knot over it and around it...this is what I am not sure about...the third end of material.....can ye fella's help me out here.... thanks to all that have responded so far....
