Matt, posted the following in an open thread which I am reposting here so we can either discuss or at least answer his questions: There will 100% be an offical Order of leviathon meeting at Fells but the Order needs to decide on some things ahead of time. A)Are you electing anyone new? B)If so how many? C)Do the new people get rings? D)If so do the pay for them or does the Order want to try and fund it some how? E)The Order working with Pirates Magazine needs to decide a Pirate of the year. We got a call from the Admiral Fells Hotel and it seems they are just about sold out for Fells Point this year. A good sign and it lit a spark up under my seat to get something planned. There may not be new inductees or there may be one or two. No voting this time though. If there is to be another member it will be decided by the current members. We have a few locations in mind for the next meeting. Nothing solid as of yet. I seem to be at the helm for getting something planned and organized. I am taking suggestions for the event. Ahoy mates! I was sitting here wondering how many of you have your own personal Jolly Rogers, and if so, would you share them here with us? I am trying to compile as much info on our members as I can, and I thought it would be fun to see something like that. I was also thinking it might be neat to have a t-shirt design made with all of our flags on the back, and maybe the Order logo on the front at the left breast...similar to the t-shirts you see out there with the historical pirate flags such as Blackbeard's, Thomas Tew's, etc. What do you all think? Ahoy mates! It is my understanding that several of our number will be in attendance at the Southern Pirate Festival in October. Since that may be the case, may I suggest that we use the opportunity to have a meeting of the Order, as it were, and discuss a bit of business amongst ourselves? Topics such as electing a captain, which directions we would all like the Order to go, etc. I realize that it is hard to get us all together in one place often, due to distance and finances, so perhaps we could seize any opportunities we have with each other to converse amongst ourselves? Just a suggestion. Your thoughts?

Recently Capt. Midnight proposed a meeting of the Order's members that were attending the Southern Pirate Festival in October. Perhaps whatever is discussed at the meeting could be passed along here and brought up with any members attending Key West's Pirates in Paradise Festival and Fort Taylor Pirate Event? T'is time we got down to business..

Mates , It's time to have it out and vote who's in charge of the Order what be our next course plotted. We have some fine recruits asking to come aboard , but first some blood needs to be shed and a Leader we need. A vote is called for mates a vote for the new Captain of the Order. They be brave and bold, willing to work long thankless hours for their brethren. (I know a thing or two about this and I'll nell ye tis not an easy job.) Between getting flack for putting the Devil's Dozen - Order of Leviathan Public Forum in the wrong place and a lack of interest - I will be moving the Devil's Dozen - Order of Leviathan Public Forum in with the rest of the other crew forums. Ahoy Brethren (and Ladies), In an effort to be proactive, following Our decision to Keep our Orders name and make it our own, and to blow the other guys out of the cyber waters, replacing them in the search engine rankings, I have started a facebook page. It is a slight variation to the name, which i think will allow a transition (on google) to occur more smoothly. I am not suggesting that we change our name. Ahoy my brethren. I have a question for all of you. Does anyone know who decided on the name for our order? Just for fun I typed "Order of The Leviathan" into google search. What I found was possibly a little alarming. I found that there already is an organization with this title.
