CapnJake Posted May 18, 2007 Posted May 18, 2007 A quick note to anyone in the area who is participating in the "Pirate Shows." We are having dress rehearsal at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday May 26. We're scheduled to go until 5:00, but ending time and working again on Sunday will depend upon how smoothly things go Saturday. We will be working with the ensemble cast, the pyro technician and the fight choreographers to block out the movement during the scene. Blocking instructions will be sent out to all groups participating. Thanks, mates! Ransom Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 It better be rain or shine! CapnJake Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 Oh, yeah, it is a "Rain or Shine" event all right. We've got enough canvas cover to rig a fleet! Might get a bit crowded if there's a tempest, but that just makes for cozy. There is food and drink under the tents, so all would be well in the worst case! CrazyCholeBlack Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 'rain or shine' event right? SHHHH, Cheeky, don't mention the R word! Actually the reports say 40% chance all weekend & barely cracking 70. Bring layers just in case people. Even when it's warm, it can be mighty windy on the lake front. Cheeky Actress Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 Me...Mention the "R" word?! No, just had to ask. There are many events that I have gone to in the past that 'roll up the sidewaks' when the slightest sprinkel occurs. I just wanted to make sure. Cheeky Member of "The Forsaken"
Rats Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 Aye! Even if that means making one big shanty town of tents!!! No rest for the wicked! Wait a minute... that's me?!
