Gee....things I never knew.....

My pen-pal in Canada raises rabbits for show. Some of hers are HUGE, just like the one that man is holding! I know another gal who has a small one that is just so cute and loveable. Way back when I knew a couple who had a rabbit who just loved to hump balls..... now that was just downright hilarious!!

It's been documented that it snowed in Escondido way back when and I know it snowed in Lake Elsinore a few years back. If it gets cold enough here inland, and the weather is just right, we could get snow, but it wouldn't last for long. Most of the time here in sunny southern Calif. we are just kicking back and enjoying it.

Well as most have found out, I'm not much of a talker in real life, I listen to people. I can write fairly well except when feeling cranky or whatever and I earn another blue ribbon for saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. But I love to smile and laugh (when I can) because that's what makes my current pain-filled life somewhat less painful. (Hopefully that will be corrected sometime in January.)

I'd like to be pain free.

Hmmmmm......whatever happened to Oliver Reed?

Thank you. Now I'll tell you all the cat from hell story: Bunch of us went back to the apartment to get the last four cats, three fine, into carriers no problem. But Kiki was in panic mode and when my friend Bob tried to catch her, she bit him pretty bad. When I tried to catch her, she bit me so hard in my left hand, she hit bone! Bloodied, we finally managed to get the damn cat into the carrier . Within an hour my hand swelled up huge and hurt like hell, couldn't bend my thumb. By Tuesday it was clear I had infections where I had been bitten. Off to the doctor, given a tetnus shot and antibiotics. Happy to tell the infections are gone and my hand is no longer swollen and I can move my thumb. Hopefully we will never have to attempt to pick her up again........

I've been on the Star and the Berkley many times and I have to admit, I have honestly never felt anything. Geeze there's people all over those ships all the time, except maybe late at night, but I know there are sleepovers for kids during the summer and there are movies shown at night during the summer on the Star. But it's the first I've heard of ghosts. Hmmmm.......now I have to look at those ships a whole different way. Dang, I wish I had known that show was on, I would have loved to have seen it!
