I enjoyed the colonial house series very much. There were a lot of things given to them up fron and it also was apparent that there seem to be a intentional tension set for the group. Despite that, I enjoyed the series a lot. I have a particular passion for this time period on through the war of 1812. So even when a show isn't done to the standards many of us would like to have seen, I still enjoyed it. As far as who gets picked. We also applied for the show. We happen to know a GREAT deal of people who applied for the show. We did not get picked. Neither did any of our friends. Oh well, there is always the next show........ will have to finish this later.. Matthew is starting to fuss and Karen needs a little help..... Flint

I need a little help shipmates... I'm lookin for an outfit for our little boy. Cannot seem to find anything... If anyone knows where to find a little onesee or even a bib with skull and crossbones on it. This old capt. sure would appreciate it....... He''s only a week old so size 0to 3 is what we need. Stynky , Katey, Maggie, and meself are planning another party along pirate weekend of the Md. Fair again this year. Our little one will be about 4 months then and he can handle his booze a little better . Fair Katey is breast feeding the youngin and has been adding a lot of rum to her diet latley, so I'm just a we bit worried about him drinkin his old man under the table. But, as long as fair Katey is there, then that will be fine also...... Ahoy all.... I wanted to tell all of me mates here, that our little Matthew has arrived. He was born on Wed. in the early morn. He is 7.32lbs and 20" long. He and mom are both doing very well and will most likely be home on Sun. Thanks too all of you who wished your best. Paisly... If we didn't say it luv, then let me do so now. Your kindess and thoughtful gift was heart warming. It's nice to know that we were in your thoughts.. Stynky.... you ol' barnicle. Despite how much we hold you in high regards... we just couldn't bring ourselves to name our son... Stynky..... But we sure are proud to know ye my friend Mad Woman Cheryl and Bill...... I just cannot say anything serous to you, because every time we talk there is way to much laughter. I think thats a good thing. I hope you do also. To all the rest of me ship mates here.. I offer the first toast to me new son and me most darlin luv..... a man never knows happieness. until he sees it in the eyes of those who he holds dearest....... First... A great many thanks to all who attended our humble abode. You brightened our evening, gladdened our heart and helped turn our house into a home. We will most assuredly have to do that again soon. Duncan... tsk tsk tsk... all the loss was on ye lad. Never did one room have more lovely , enchanting, alluring, beautiful ladies in one room than were there that fine evening. Now remember Duncan... anything short of a really bad case of scurvy will not be accepted as a reasonable excuse, and we will be forced to way lay your ship and blast her into splinters. There was a game selling in a catalog from a shop called Prestons. The game was called ... The Captains Mistress.... I have no idea how to play it, but, I am interested in buying it. The last time i looked, it was going for about $40. Let me know if you buy it.... The Capt.

Paisley.... babies room has all wood furniture and ( God help my spelling) gingim curtains. Outside of that, it is pretty much a hodge podge of whatever strikes our fancy. Since we know it's a boy, I'm sure I'll put a lot of things like sailboats and fishing pictures etc. We also have a few M. Mouse pics that were originally in Maggies room that are going in the babies room now. You'll see it when you get here.... see you then...... Flint

Paisley... your dirctions look good. I don't know if they are better or worse. I'm terrible with directions on land. i leave that to fair katey. Wish we could join you at the ship earlier in the day, but, alas we will be getting ready for everything. Just be sure to have the phone number handy in case anyone gets lost. As far as garb goes..... wear whatever anyone likes. Just remember to be comfortable. I know my love will dress for casualness as she is now over seven months along.
