Okay mates, we have him. Our favorite Pirate scum who is auctioning off all those *faux* props from POTC has had several of his auctions closed down my Disney Legal. I recieved a post today from them telling me what is happening AND... that in the future I should forward any and all auctions that are seen to be fraudulent to them ASAP so that steps can be taken. I told them that Pyracy Pub has an eye on him and that I would let them know if anything else that was suspect surfaced. So.... keep a weather eye out mates. If you see an auction that you suspect is a fraud, send me the link as soon as you can and I will forward it to legal. Who says Pyrates canna work wi…

Morning Shipmates Please excuse my intrusion but I am so excited and wanted to share with other lovers of sea stories. Today I received the proof copy of the 2nd edition of Falcon's Revenge. The cover is so beautiful and the interior text and layout looks just great. To celebrate I am having a drawing to send the winner the signed first copy. The details are on my web site. http://www.josephlosteen.com Good Luck :) Joe

The Dawdler, built in Wilmington CA 1928. Gaff rigged, bald headed schooner. 28' on deck, 36' sparred, 10' abeam (which be damn beamy fer somethin so small). Aven't taken note of her sail area yet, but she sports a bit: jib, gaff fore, gaff main, fisherman (an' if ya know yer schooners, she also has a gollywobbler fisherman almost the size o' the fore, and main tagether). Steerage is tiller, Wheels is fer lubbers. Word's come down from the old salts that afore she was neglected fer about three decades she was damn fast, and she will be again by the powers. Got her from a drunken bos'un fer a song ta boot. note: these pics were taken from me mates camera phone so there no…

Avast there! Just collected a re- bound book from our local bookbinder. It is the "Buccaneers of America" by Alexandre Olivier Exquemelin that was first published in 1678. I had the book rebound in goatskin and decorated it with the year of publishing on the cover (1678 translates to MDCLXXVIII in Latin numerals) and a french lilies on the spine (as Exquemelin was a frenchman). What a transition! From an ordinary, dull paperback like this: to a work of art:

Quick hint: If you have a real good thrift store around check out the mens coat section. I have found 4 coats now that could easily double as Capt. coats, perfect length, and by simply adding a cuff you've got yourself a fine coat! All the coats I saw were running about $20.00 each. Look for the long coats in either men's or women's section. *I would have bought the coats, but none fit me. Rumba Rue **Always try to be of help**

Hi there, my name is Sarah or Mary Sue Phonix (me pirate lass name). I went to the Kanasas City Ren Fest this year for me second time in a row and I had a lot of fun. But sadly I could not spend a lot of money or time on making a costume ahead of time since. I am planning on goin to two anime convention later this year, as well as a few family trips. lol so money is kind of short sometimes at my house. So I had to use somethings from my house and go dressed up as a Hobbit. And even though I really liked my costume and had lots of fun playing the act. I still couldn't help but feel slightly jelous when I saw other people with their had made outfits that looked so amazing…
