Thought I'd throw this out there, We may attend a modest but fun Halloween convention(for lack of a better word) Vendors, demonstrations and a nice after-hours party that has come to be know as "the Weasel Ball" in Tell City Indiana. Never in the past 3 years has there been anything relating to Pirates or even Renn Fair, so... Anyone think they might be interested? I know it's a little short notice, the table space is free. -Lee www.theironhook.comThe Iron Hook

Ahoy mates! On Sunday October 24th, 2004 Tales of the Seven Seas will be working with Make a Wish Foundation to help grant the wish of a 13 year-old boy with a life threatening illness. The boy's name is Blake and he wished "to sail on a pirate ship, dress like a pirate and act." It's going to be a big surprise. (shhhh!!) He won't know his wish is to be granted until it actually happens! Our pirates will be 'kidnapping' the entire family, taking them aboard the tall ship Royaliste and going out for a sailing adventure! I'm currently recruiting other ships to battle us and modern boats to harass us, as well as working to organize a ship to shore battle with the cannone…

Did anyone else attend the Halloween festivities in Madison? I saw quite a number of pirates. Most were lame, but a few were really good. I left before the riots, though. Once people started getting their costumes torn off, and the firemen started breaking down doors, we dashed over to the union to catch a cab, but since the cab company line was crazy busy, we walked back to the hotel.

There will be a Pirates of the Caribbean Interactive Event in Wildwood, NJ at The Sea Theatre on Saturday, October 2, 4:00 PM, and Sunday, October 3, 1:00 PM. We dress in pirate gear, eat pirate goodies, and interact with the movie with a script. There have been several POTC Interactive events across the country. If enough people are interested, we will have a Pirate Ball on Saturday night. The theater is very easy to get to by car or public transportation from NJ, NY, PA, and DE. In fact a bus runs directly from New York City several times a day. The theater is only 3 blocks from the bus depot. For those coming from the east via the Atlantic Ocean, you can park your gal…
