Ahoy mates, Tis Mary Read returnin' from me lonely gravesite aft bein' snuffed out whiles in the gaol fur crimes not a me hand. I be dead but me spirit dinna rest til I find me love and reunite. I tried ta register me birth but no go - I was borned in 1684 and some say i died an untimely death on April 28, 1721. I says they all be wrong. I only knows I am right here inhabitnin' this sorry excuse of a body. I'll be pokin my head in from time to time to see if times have changed. He never said where he was going. He just walked out the door and didn't turn back even once as he walked to the pier. I always wondered what became of him. Was he lost at sea? Did he perish in prison? Does he own land in the West Indies? Perhaps, he is adrift even now. Can anyone tell me what became of him? In the Raids forum a few weeks ago, I posted about my crew, the Pirate Brethren of Texas, attending bingo at a gay bar in Dallas(in specific the Throckmorton Mining Company bar). Unfortunately, due to conditions beyond our control, Bingo got cancelled, permanantly. My crew has been asked by the managers to come up with some interesting ideas to take the place of Bingo and a thought was to create a "Pirate night" once a month on a Tuesday night. HELP!!!! I would like to ask your opinion on which name I should use for a character. Here are the choices and how I came up with them let me know what you think..... Tabitha Foxx: My cats first name that I always use as a handle, and I used foxx because Captain Foxx sounded really good to me.... Pandora Foxx: Cheesy but the name sounds good and Pandora means gifted one from what I found on the internet although I'm not sure about the jokes that would come with it..... *is there some kind of rehab group for re-enactors*? Ok I admit it, I am a stitch nazi. There I have said, it and I feel better already. Fellow Sea Dwellers, it is with a most heavy heart I must announce that the BenBow Inn resteraunt & tavern on Admiral St in West Seattle has officially been sold and will not be reopened to it's former glory. This wonderful place was a favorurite dive of mine. The interior was done up just as a ship and most of the regulars looked more like pirates than I think they realized. It was truly one of the most unique little pub and grubs I have ever had the pleasure of sticking to a booth in. Ok, I'm writin a story about five teens that find a necklace in a cave which contains three old pirate ships. It sends them to a deserted island in the early 18th century where they see the three pirate ships being careened. They go onboard and become cabinboys/girls. (two boys and three girls) There is another pirate crew that act as their rivals. That's about all I have for the plot right now. Any feedback and/or ideas?
