  1. It does look a lot like the Pea Jacket at Dirigoboy's link it does. I do like the sound o' his Long John Silver Coats as well, just wish he had at least some photos o' the finished product, and better someone here who knows o' his workmanship. Else wish some others would take needle 'n thread to that style. {quote} #10 - $225 "Long John Silver's Coat" - This is the coat most commonly identified with Long John Silver and other fanciful renditions of pirates. Actually a 1670's pattern dress coat, of wool, with different color and cloth on the cuffs, and many buttons on the front and skirt splits #12 - $350 "Long John Silver's Coat" trimmed in cloth tapes on edges; a simpler yet common version
  2. I knows of one forum that be taken over control by some new, young yha-hoots. They say they be find'n long history o' threads too difficult t' maneuver through, so now they archive all threads more then 4 week old!?? Just Four Week ye have for t' get the info before it get mothballed!! 'n be'n an art site what covers many programs....that be a LOT o' useful material 'n tutorial that must be fished out with searches just t' be seen!! But on t'other hand, I know of o'nother art forum what NEVER archives forum threads, there now be a page count in the 10s o' thousands!! Some time even when ye knows what t' search for, what ye wants do not come up or it come up but buried like Captain Kidd's treasure down among non-relie-vant sea bottom trash it be! Only way for t' really find something that buried be t' just ask 'n hope someone who just been visit'n it can toss ye a life line for t' haul it t' th' surface. Especially for those o' us still sail'n in dial-up sloops!!!! But t' be 'rude' t' a bloke seek'n a head'n? Well, that mostly be those old salty UNIX heads 'er those who been treated ill by such. Keep t' th' code; RTFM Rum Tacos Feed powder Monkeys
  3. I am hoping to but not sure yet on funds. but I still do not think they can whip up rotisserie chicken with curry sauce ANYTHING NEAR the way the Imbis down by the Rhine river does But if we be lucky then perhaps the vendors at the fussplatz may be selling some whole smoked eel and shrimp bisketts with sour cream and goat's milk cheese!!

  12. odd, mine say: You're a risk-taker, and you follow your passions. You're determined to take on the world and succeed on your own terms. Whether in the arts, science, engineering, business, or politics, you fearlessly express your own vision of the world. You're not afraid of a fight, and you're not afraid to bet your future on your own abilities. If you find a job boring or stifling, you're already preparing your resume. You believe in doing what you love, and you're not willing to settle for an ordinary life. Then is tells me score like so: Your scores: Talent: 69% Lifer: 33% Mandarin: 28% I know! I must be a 4x4 MONSTER TRUCK!!! ....but what this be 'bout 28% Mandarin? I be 50% German, 25% Irish, 25% English....there be no Asian in me blood?? Unless....me father does tell the truth 'n I really be the milkman's son!??!

  17. Aye, I saw'r it indeed! The fight scene made me remember I had not checked fer the latest epie-sode of "Bus Pirates" in a while!! I sure hope the local pet shops take good heed 'n begin put'n warning signs on them parrots: WARNING T' YE ALL 'n TAKE HEED: Th' Saw Bonez General has issued warning that parrots may cause serious piratical delusions if taken home. Symptoms may include: obsessive rum drinking, blindness in one eye, slurred speak causing you to roll your R's a lot, urge to bury yer money, cravings fer salt water in yer face, desire t' pull along side vehicles 'n board them. In extreme cases with larger parrots even Scurvy has been known to develop.

Oh yah, ye be that Jants bloke from the CHOC party ye be!! Welcome t' th' pub!!! :holds out a hand t' shake but falls t' th' floor, face first:

Now that was cute! She stood not but 3 foot tall she was, shrunken head, headdress 'n all.
