Aye, like you not be jesting about the looseness of garb at the Ren faire! I went with one of those 'meet up' groups, chose to go in street clothes after looking over their dress code: "ELIZABETHAN, 1558-1603" Yet if you look on another page it says "speak like a 16th century native." Is this the 15th century or 16th? There was even a bit about pheasants being rare and only for the queen, anyone getting caught with a pheasant feather in their hat could be arrested for poaching....but I sure saw a LOT of poachers there!! Actually I even saw quite the few polyester Jack Robins...er, be that Sparrow, running around, one even wore tennis shoes!!! So be it, I will still get to play later this month at Cutthroats of Corona, don't think me new breeches will be done by then, so I must have stories of how the wenches at the Ren Faire bit me leg buttons all off and I had to use their corset lacing for ta tie the legs closed again.

Well..... I guess it's all a matter of perspective. I've found things to like at both places and I'm hitting Southern this year. WENCH FIGHT!! Alright ladies; Cutlasses, Pistols, Axes.... I spoke with them on Monday and they are due to be placing the next order "later this week"....so my order is in. She did make a statement that they expected the turn around to be "in June"

Also me pheasant feathers may get me in trouble with queen, and I do not think anyone would want me to behead her during the festivities.....least not till the last day of fair anyway....

odd, I just be scoutin' out the Pirate Magazine home page online just now I be, when I comes across a link on the bottom o' the page. Now being a curious bloke as I be I click on that thar link an' begin to read about 'Urban Pirates' and their current quest for a ship name, a crew, an' a captain. now har be the odd part: They be a pirate ship in search of a crew and their page state that all crew members will be "subject to criminal background checks" Aye, t'would be odd indeed should we end up with an 'Honest' crew o' cutthroats an' pirates aboard a pirate ship!!!!

Aye, I catch me own rattlers an' me own mostly. Thar be a fine ship that sail out of San Diego for shark an' sometime I just settle fer the smaller ones taken off the pier, but fer mako ye need to go out farther. Rattlers are still abundant in the hills, they have started coming out early this year due to the weather.

Day job in the real world, eh? Well, ye might say that I resolve technical problems that field techs and analysts can not, an' for problems I too can not resolve then I convert field jibber into technical lingo for the design engineers and then from the design engineers back into field jibber for the field monkeys to understand. I test and verify data before passing either from the field monkey to the engineers and from the engineers back to the field monkeys. I monitor quality control and repairs across from west coast to east coast and drop the hammer when I find the field monkeys goofin off. I write technical skits for 3rd party phone support to read so it sounds as if they might actually know what they are saying, and even understand English sometimes too. On occasion I will take calls from customers nation wide who are afraid to RTFM and explain to them how to do their job, and if it be over their head then I dispatch a technician or analyst to dispatch the customer forth with! All that Xerox pays me too!
