WOW! This group - Snowshoe Men

I just googled a few things last night looking for information about my ancestors who settled in Scarborough area of Maine. I found out that one Isaac McKenney was a member of the Snowshoe Company in the 1730s in York, ME (Scarborough Settlement) area. I need to do a bit more research on him for he is a KEY Ancestor in my family lineage. His son, Daniel is our direct bloodline to the Northern New York McKinney’s.

Thank you all for posting this information. I plan on attempting this one myself. From start to finished. I don't have the RH pattern, therefore I plan on useing the Waugh pattern and Stays Generator to help with the perfect fit.

The 'Lay-Out' of the reed channels are a HUGE help, Captain. Thank you! And Mary. I get a better understand of the 'cone' appearence now. We all want that perfect figure...right?

Sorry that I haven't done this earlier, but I've been busy finsihing up a few things here at home and fighting a very bad stomach bug that has plagued me for about a week now. (Which oddly enough isn't as bad as last year's bought that landed me in the hospital)...not to mention trying to help and keep up with a few last items with RF5. If it isn't one thing...it's another!

Okay, Sorry about the quality of the photos. My camera and the room in which I'm working in doesn't have the best light. Here is the back pleating of the Mantua.

Closer Look...you can see the direction of the pleats and that they are tacked down on top of the fabric.

Lastly...here is a shot of the Winter Blue Mantua. I did a quick stomacher, but I still need to finish the trim on the sleeves, trim off the front of the Mantua and along the bottom of the gown.

I am hoping that I will be able to finish this sometime tomor...I mean today. I'm off to bed.

...I may trade iin Victoria's secret for this. lol

My sources have led me here, and I shall remain at the local inn for a period of (24) twenty four hours, should said primate appear along with at least 75% of said rental fee, and a small surcharge for my personal expenses, no questions will be asked and there will be no need to reveal the name of said rentor on BEAR's rental agreement.

We have not paid the rental contract agreement for your monkey, as of this time, due to the numerous expenses, operating costs and damages cause by ‘The Monkey’ known here after as the “Instrument”.
