  1. Ooooh ...shiny ...historical.
  2. My only question is ...is there no stove inside the house? Is the owner of the house a vegan and bacon and other meat must be cooked outside? Well, at least the bacon eater won't let a little snow stop them!
  3. Welcome to our world Jack!
  4. I checked my settings last week when I was initially having issues and I thought that did it but I am still not getting results when I click on the View New Content link. Has something here been changed?
  5. A bit of history would be nice here. When was Absinthe invented for starters, how long was it in use before it was made illegal, what countries made it illegal when? Is this a GAoP thing or just a fantastic diversion. I too love the stuff.
  6. All items are donated by whomever has extra kit or the skill who wishes to help out the organization sponsoring the event or even some other organization (always announced before the donations are made). In this case I believe the benefactor of the auction will be The Colonial Seaport Foundation. (Someone please correct me if I am wrong) People donate anything appropriate & historically accurate.
  7. An auction of the things found in the sea chest of a departed brethren with no family.
  8. I was just joking about "The Sunken". I own an Ordinary & Inn IF Mistress Murin McDonough ever owned a merchant vessel I suppose that might be a good direction. seithí oisíní róin = skins of baby seals couldn't find a one word translation. Few would be able to pronounce it. "Selchie" is the correct spelling of Silkie so that could work. I think I shall remain on solid ground and make my fortune with my property and information.
  9. who said it wasnt broken??...that was just the reed Well I have bowls at the Hide ...for a price.
  10. I think it is something like what you see on the peanuts cartoon's ...only you won't be dancing to Vince Guaraldi, too modern, hmmm ...then again, his stuff may sound good on a harpsichord. lol
  11. I hope it is a second one, I know a few pirtes who may be unemployed if "Pirate Soul" is closing. That would stink.
  12. Anyone coming from the NE (passing Philly or between me and Deltaville) wish to carpool?
  13. Thank you Dorian. Okay, those of you in St.Augustine ...why haven't you posted this before?!
  14. Looks quite nice Mr. d'Dogge. (There will be no living with him now ...like there was before?) And congratulations on the unbroken pipe. lol
  15. My ship is likely named the "Sunken" lol
  16. You just did and William will catch that I am sure. As to the Archangel, I say ye are welcome to camp with us. We much enjoyed your company last year good man.
  17. Happy Birthday Mistress Constance. Best to you on your special day.
  18. Israel ladd, I am sorry I missed this thread. I did not see it. I use the "View new Content" link and for two days now I have seen nothing. Happy birthday ladd, you know I luv ya!
  19. ...and you were able to report for duty sober and ready for work on your next shift.
  20. Nice to see you saved the best for last!
  21. Nuff said ...splaines allot.
  22. As I have always said, you will be missed around here Bo. Please do as Jack suggested, stop in via a Library from time to time. HUG
  23. A member of the host crew found a knife on the top of the trash, we told him it wasn't ours but I said if he didn't find the owner I could use a knife, he gave me the knife. I traded drawings for needed items. Poles for the "Hide". Sword belt & cartridge box. Looking to do more. Was given pewter goblets & tankards (not PC but usable after hours) for "The Hide" by sever friends. Very Valuable assistance with numerous pieces of garb. (thanks Lily & Cap) I am sure I am forgetting some things, I'll let you know what more If I think of them.
