  1. lol Patrick... And I am not almost nek... oh. I'll be callin' no one any colorful metaphors, unless they're meant to get a rise out of yeh. Could I get another tankard of spiced rum sir? *slides over...smiles and commences puppy dog eyes*
  2. I've met two folks, one in person, one over the phone. Met hurricane via phone (hopefully I'll meet the PotC crew someday sir), and met (live, and in person) the man formerly known as Mission (and crew..er family), and what a bright and entertaining bunch they are. :)
  3. If I had to pick a ST category, I'd go for Fedi, though I'm a Sith at heart, who has an odd soft spot for Luke. :)
  4. No need to worry...I'll keep it mum. My...this spiced rum is *hiccup* good... I'm in the mood for a game of poker, how 'bout you? Btw...what shall I call yeh, callenish gunner, callenish, gunner, cal?
  5. Why thank you sir! I think I may just do one thing... *proceeds to make a snow angel in yonder snowbank* I'd very much enjoy a cup of spiced rum, and your company next to a crackling fire. :)
  6. I am not a person who enjoys all art, though over the years, I have learned to appreciate many styles and forms. A few years back, I managed to head to an Impressionism exhibit in Denver, where I saw works by Monet, Menet, Van Gogh (I got to breathe on his self portrait), among others. That style of painting really floors me, as it's literally swirls or dots of color, which when done just right, conjur up amazing landscapes or reflections of people. It's a style I've tried doing myself, but haven't had luck with so far. Speaking of art that ties to things I like, I came across Monet's "Seascapes, Shipping by Moonlight" (titled "Effet de Nuit" in French) at the exhibit, and that has to be my favorite of his works. It looks alot like pirate ships passing in the night, and ties to one of my favorite Disney attractions.
  7. I need to go to the mud pit or the hot tub, don't I. That or take a cold shower.
  8. Ahh, ye see, it be too small for me nine-inch "pirate." I must be taking yer quotes wrong...cuz my mind just went somewheres else...
  9. Well...the one I took prior to that (about 8 or so years back) was Meyer's Briggs (sp?). I was in between I and E at the time.
  10. Tom Jones - Help Yourself
  11. Just lost the connection on a call to a local friend. A cat she's found and taken to a room in her house had kittens this morning. Mom and (5) babies are doing fine.
  12. I'm an ENFJ, if memory serves me right. Took the test around a month ago. :)
  13. Have you had a look at Spreadshirt.com? Seems they have quite a few styles for men and women, shirts, hoodies, etc.
  14. That be from Shallow Grave. I recall Ewan McGregor saying it. Here's an odd (and oddly short) quote: Person 2: "She's --------." Person 1: " She's Italian?"
  15. *sings* All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth, my two front teeth, yes my two front teeth.. I remember that being the tv advertisement prior to the Dark Shadows Revival being shown. Anywho, I asked for money this year, to help with a project I'm working on, and for getting new decore for my home.
  16. A couple of craisins (dried cranberries), a few m & m's, and a cup of hot cinnamon apple tea.
  17. Ah...see that's where I went wrong (the only kind I've ever had was green). I'll add that to my list, along with "avoiding yellow snow".
  18. I had alot of nightmares as a kid too tish. But, as I grew older, those dreams gradually changed, and I ended up beating down what scared or threatened myself or others in those dreams. I rather enjoyed taking on a more confident role, and giving the dreams a more pleasant spin in the end. Wallpaper eh? Are yah sure it wasn't key lime pie?
  19. I know...but because of the type of movie Donner wanted to make, he veered quite a bit from the book (I liked the book, btw), and aimed for as little special effects as possible.
  20. I caught an actor by the name of Marton Csokas recently in the movie Aeon Flux, and knew I'd seen him in other movies. Turns out, I had caught him in one a while back. He played DeKere in Timeline, a character who decided to stay back in time (1400th century France) and help the "bad guys" of the movie win a skirmish they weren't supposed to win. Marton's been in other movies (xXx, Kingdom of Heaven, Garage Days, Asylum)...I just haven't seen them at this point.
  21. It was in the high 60's/low 70's today with overcast skies. Sprinkled a bit at work.
