  4. Let me preface by saying I have no experience with blackpowder..... Correct me if I am wrong, but the linstock is "smoldering" and not a flame. Therefore, tucking a lit linstock into a strap tied around your boot would be the most effective means of "carrying" a lit linstock. As long as the person remembered it was there and didn't let time run out of linstock. You might have up to an hour with a lit linstock tucked in your boot. Of course, this is all speculation on my part and I am probably totally out on a plank with this idea.
  5. Ahoy scallywags, I be havin a Natal Celebration for me mini-pirate who turns 11. I be needin some distraction for the group and am looking for "kiddie" friendly movies to be playing on the picture box while awaint all to arrive. The ages being from 3-12, so the popular POTC is out of the question. So, let's here yer suggestion. The celebration is Saturday, so obscure titles, although interesting, not be available. Blackheartedly,

  23. Alright pirates, I have been practicing with my new Dread Pirate Game. First night, me middle son was winner by gaining on all the jewels. However by the second night, I had sunk everyone's ship. I'm ready to take on you scruvy dogs.
  24. Okay pirates, play by the guidelines or I shall be forced to bury the thread in POTC rumors. That one is a pretty long thread already and you will soon get as lost in the rumors as a brig in the fog of Isle de la Muerta.
  25. There's a bit of peter pan in the shows, but other than some excursions on shore, the POTC night on the Cruise is all you'll get out of Disney. We were hoping to see the "pirate" ship out of Grand Cayman, but Hurricane Ivan hit right before our trip. Bloody Hurricanes. My favorite excursions on Castaway Cay are the outdoor cabana massages on serenity beach. They have to be booked through the spa on the ship and do it the first day. They fill up last. I just love being naked on the sand while a cute is rubbing my entire body. (Oops, Did I say that out loud?) Book the first ones in the morning. Then they aren't rubbing sand with the lotion and you don't have to worry about getting there in time for the massage. The second excursion I would recommend, but haven't ever done, is to rent the Hobie Cats for a little sailing. Bon Voyage.
