Ev'ry good pyrate needs some ink on his flesh, do ye be wearin any? I've just this one fer now: http://s18.photobucket.com/albums/b129/blu...mgAnch=imgAnch1 It has since been colored, but i'll have to get some updated pics. I also want to get the traditional pyrate "Rats and Barrels" on me foot. The story goes that pyrates would get this tattooed on their feet for good luck because when a ship went down, the only things left afloat were rats and barrels........

Anyone else taking a stab at the POTC MMO game? It's fairly fun, and designed with intentionally low system reqs so almost anyone can play. Basic membership is free (though there are pretty stiff game limitations). Anyone around here subscribed to the premium account? If so, how is it? Happy? Disappointed? Thanks for any feedback.

Ok, I want to make a cage for my undead monkey... ...like the one in the second POTC movie so I can put him atop my entertainment center in my Pirate-Themed Living Room. Any thoughts on what the cage might be made of?

And I heard tell this was a dreadful movie.... If anything, the people are consistent. Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End scored a hat trick for the billion-dollar Disney franchise Tuesday at the 34th Annual People's Choice Awards, becoming the third film in the series to be named Favorite Movie and, incidentally, the first to win for Favorite Threequel. Johnny Depp, in turn, was named Favorite Male Movie Star for the third straight year, and costar Keira Knightley got the nod for Favorite Female Action Star.

This was SO wicked! Saw it on Good Morning America this morning as well as a mention on Regis and Kelly that National Geographic has a documentary (not sure when or where it will be airing, didn't catch that part) about the shipwrecked pirate vessel AND will sponsor a Traveling exhibit of the artifacts from the Whydah! I'll do some search where this site is at, all I got was the mention of it. But if anyone else knows more, feel free to post something about this, too! It's FANTASTIC! I have to admit... I'm eager to have a look see m'self! ~Lady B

The Winter issue is at press and I should have proofs to approve just before I head out to LA on the third (for the big pre-pyratecon party in Long Beach). We're still on track for getting the magazines out in the mail in the next few weeks. The Spring issue will be the BIG one with all the information on PyrateCon including the full itinerary, maps, and entertainment/speaker information.

Avaste Ye Online Comic No outstanding artwork, just some pirate stick figures, some of it is funny though. I received it in an email that said "New comics are posted every month. Zuda users decide which of those comic creators will be offered a paid, one-year contract to produce their work!"

There is a new on line PIRATE Role Play Game (now adays called an MMO) coming out in January. However, you can play the beta now for free if you are a member of the on line site called File Planet. Here be a link to the game site: http://piratesoftheburningsea.station.sony.com/ I have played it for just a day now, but it is very fun and has a good pirate feel and some historical trivia. You have a character that you move about on land, but each player commands their own ship and you get a ship when you first start to play (don't have to earn it.) For anybody that played Star Wars Galaxies before SOE ruined the game, this game appears to have the same functions as th…
