Apparently the log jam was caused by DH's puter on the network. After finally telling him several things to do to get rid of the virus. He finally listened and all puters are now free to roam the seas of the internet. Huzzah!

Someone sent me a link to this quiz via email and I thought it was pretty entertaining, so... http://www.theadvocates.org/quiz-score/quiz.php I was shocked (shocked!) to discover that I'm a libertarian. The little red dot on the map was at 100,100. "LIBERTARIANS support maximum liberty in both personal and economic matters. They advocate a much smaller government; one that is limited to protecting individuals from coercion and violence. Libertarians tend to embrace individual responsibility, oppose government bureaucracy and taxes, promote private charity, tolerate diverse lifestyles, support the free market, and defend civil liberties.

I know some of ya are groaning and wondering why again... I'm sure many of us as bitched about how high they are. Why does this have anything to do with piracy? Well... how else will we all get to our events? Hmm? Need gas for that vehicle of yours! A few of ya have gone off to events already this weekend. Grand! Bavo.. Lucky you! I am now having a HARD enough time attempting to keep gas in my vehicle. It's $2.59 here in Cedar Rapids Iowa... REALLY high for us. I heard it's $2.80 around Chicago.. and nearly $3 out on the east coast. Honestly...I don't know about the rest of you.. but I CANNOT continue to pay this much in gas! I've already paid 2 extra years worth …

I admit it. Last night, the wife and I bought one of those "Roomba" robotic vaccum cleaners. Partly because I don't always have time to help with the housework when hse's feeling up to it, and partly because her MS prevents her from feeling up to it a lot of the time. This thing is a bloody marvel! Very thorough, very well programmed, and far more powerful than I could have ever imagined. The cat's finally realise that no whirling blades nor spiked hammers were going to pop out and chase them round the house, so they're warming up to it. Just turn it loose on a level , and in an hour or so it's done! Even parks itself in it's recharger base when it gets hungry. :…

Looks like old Scott finally earned his picture on the wall at Pancho's, if it still existed. We'll miss you, Scott. Legendary Pilot Scott Crossfield Dies in Crash Thursday, April 20, 2006 RANGER, Ga. — Legendary test pilot Scott Crossfield, the first man to fly at twice the speed of sound, was found dead Thursday in the wreckage of a single-engine plane in the mountains of northern Georgia, authorities said. Searchers discovered the wreckage about 1 p.m. near Ranger, 50 miles northwest of Atlanta. The Civil Air Patrol identified the body found inside as Crossfield. There were thunderstorms in the area Wednesday morning when air traffic monitors lost radio and r…

Did you ever have one of those days? You're spouse comes home with the news that the company they work for picked them dead last for company raises even though they do most of the work. Then...this horrible smell starts to eek up through the floorboards and you find that your basement has flooded with raw sewege. Money you didn't have disappears into the hands of plumbers and city officials. And on top of all that, your mother-in-law chooses this day of all days to tell you how she feels about you and it isn't a good, huggy conversation. It's more of a seventh seal and end of the world conversation filled with revelations about her opinion of your failings. I...had.…

This is just a crazy! Did you know that the banana in the 1950’s was a totally different banana than the one we eat today? Now I’m talkin’ about the “regular” eating banana here. In the 60’s a disease wiped out the banana that everyone was used to. This happened because the banana plant is a clone of it’s original. Well bananas are under attack again. There is a new disease that is wiping out bananas as we speak. The Asian crop is all but extinct and the bananas you are eating now are only from countries that have been able to fend off the disease for the moment. Scientists are working hard to find a replacement banana like they did in the 60’s. They have produced one t…

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060413/ap_on_...HBhBHNlYwM5NjQ- There's warning signs all over the place, so it doesn't make sense why people would still ride if they have health problems. But I've heard people who are in great health still get chest pains after they ride it. If it's like a real space launch why don't they have the guests wear special space suits? Like how real astronaughts do for real space launches. Ya know, I may love fast rides and all that, but this is a little ridiculous. I'm in good health, but I don't think I'd ride this. Any ride that offers you a barf bag and makes you have chest pains is not worth it! Has anyone on here rode this? Is it as …

Okay, here is the scenario. A guy is screwing around with a video recorder at a graveyard in the early morning hours. He hears some moaning or crying. He starts to track the crying noise. when he finally reaches it, he can see a girl sitting on a grave from a distance. He turns on the recorder and starts to film. As you watch it, you can hear the moaning noises continue coming from the girl. The film is grainy, but you can see the image of the girl if you look carefully. Fake? Who knows. It is spooky though. http://www.ebaumsworld.com/videos/ghostgirl.html

This has been going on for over a month now. I can't load pages from the pyracy pub on my computers at home. I'm sneaking a few posts in at my son's school on the their computer. (It's good to have access ) I've written to Buckets and Booty, neither has responded as to why I can't load the pages. It takes up to 3 minutes per page to load. Recently I changed IP Providers and am still struggling with my home computers. Help, I'm going through Pyracy Pub withdrawl and have resorted to visiting a ren board that has a pirate section for a fix. Help! blackheartedpearl@endkaos.com

This is some new show on the channel TV Land. They had an episode with Adam West last night. A friend of ours, Ralph, who is a deejay for KROQ in Los Angeles, got Adam to put on the Bat cowl. It has been years since Adam put on that cowl in front of a camera. The show is funny, Adam is a nut, I just love him, such a great guy! :) It will air again quite a few times, check it out!

Libra Daily extended (by Astrology.com) If you spend the morning putting out forest fires, rest assured that you will spend the afternoon basking in a warm, healthy glow. You've worked hard, and now you're starting to see the promise of a new beginning. That's how Mother Nature works sometimes, you know: There's a big forest fire to clear the way for a new generation of saplings.

This was taken at noon today... He got it behind our house in the pasture after we hunted all morning on the neighbors place and saw nothing. We were just cleaning up from late breakfast when we heard the gobbles behind the house, and he snuck up on the flock and bagged this nice tom. Yeah, I'm a proud dad. Capt.Bo
