LadyBarbossa Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 Fantastic images, Sterling. Always a thrill to be in the presense of the Archangel. Aye, Sebastian... t'was great t' be with ye, Flintlock Jack and of course the Regular. Aye, bought off they can be. I know them all too well. Next time I go to a reenactment, we'll be sharing some drinks at the "local tavern". So, I can harass these folks til their brains burst! One Militia person at a time! They will convert. Scuttle Sally... Pete's pet did WHAT?! Again, great to meet and see ya, Crownest Kate! Look forward to seein' ya next year carousin' with th' lot of us once again! Oh, and yes... the set up with the table, chairs, backdrop, etc... that was just a random set up scene. I LOVED it! I pray it returns next year! Hopefully, I'll get my pictures developed here soon. Haven't been able to take them in to get done yet. Been rather busy... and exhausted. I'm eager to see them though. BTW... anyone extend th' invitation to th' Governor who was Julius Caesar in a former "life" to come to th' Pub? A charming gent he was. Gov of Tortuga, wasn't he? ~Lady B Tempt Fate! an' toss 't all t' Hell!" "I'm completely innocent of whatever crime I've committed." The one, the only,... the infamous!
Capt. Sterling Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 Fantastic images, Sterling. Always a thrill to be in the presense of the Archangel. Thank you! Members of the crewe took those...just a small sample of some posted over on our site. BTW... anyone extend th' invitation to th' Governor who was Julius Caesar in a former "life" to come to th' Pub? A charming gent he was. Gov of Tortuga, wasn't he? Extend? Dearest Lady B, the Gov'nor and his Lady, "belong" to the Archangel Crewe.... we make sure we slip him his share, when ever we are in port! CapnJake Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 Port Washington - a charming little town, and then there were PIRATES! Mary Diamond - thank you so much for your very kind words! You folks were all so amazing. We may have had thousands of locals, but the reenactors were the real "color" that splashed the fun and amazement around. I have to say that so many of you had such incredible garb! Sterling's personal affectations are above and beyond! So fun! Wasn't that "Pirates Meeting Room" set incredible? Joel Telaco's team from MoonHowler did a lot of the set dressing, that being one of the best pieces. I'm only sorry we didn't get a chance to take advantage of it. May I please post your images from your post to our Photo Gallery? I will credit you, of course (PM me if you want me to use your mundane name.) I honestly spent all my time at the Fool's Gold recruitment booth and never really made the rounds. I know you passed us a few times (with your buns), but we never actually met. I missed quite a few folks this year -- I won't let that happen next year!! Ladies in Scarlet: Piratical Art and Accessories
Cheeky Actress Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 Yes, there was much to do and a lot to see that weekend. Heck, I feel bad for not spending more time with various members of my crew! I do remember hearing roars of laughter from my tent on Saturday night. It had to have been Rats, Master March and William the Fiddler entertaining everyone. Gosh, had I not drank some of that grogtini and/or pyrate punch that day...I would have been able to stay up at least until 12 midnight. Member of "The Forsaken"
