thanks all, I normally don't share much about my RL but, the more prayers sent the better says I and I want to thank you all for your kindness it is greatly appreciated. My sister had the bypass surgery, she was undrr for approximately 4 hours. She is still in ICU with a tube in her chest, but, she should be doing better. She will be in the hospital for at least 5 days before being releashed. Again, thanks all for your prayers and healing thoughts sent her way....

Well everyone sees what they want to see. As I said me...I thougth of PotCs sequences with the sword fight between Jack and Will, Jack's escape from the Royalies...etc. Same type of stuff...so if one is Matrixie so is the other. But, either way it was nice work.

no, no "Matrix" moves...actually it looks as if the one scene from PotC may have been inspired by "The Musketeer". the one where Jack and Will duel in the Blacksmith shop and hop...balance on the ladder while fighting. In "Musketeer" the fighting is done with whatever is handy and under various circumstances.

well the one good thing is, today, the specialist for my back doesn't think I need surgery. Just lots of Physical Therapy. Now to get over the flu..chills and fever. I can't go back east, since I am sick. I have to stay away from my sister, the last thing she needs is to catch this bug.

All, Just bought the DVD "The Musketeer" staring Cathrine Deneyve, Justin Chambers, Tim Roth and Mena Suvari. The movie has some absolutely fabulous sword fight sequences. OK, not exactly pirate but, the fight sequence with the ladders and barrels are TERRIFIC.

Thanks all, just got word that the surgery had to be postponed till tomorrow. It is going to be more extensive then first thought...instead of a stent put in She will have to have a triple bypass. I still am having a hard time believing it. My sister is only 40. Her daughter is doing better from her own surgery a few weeks ago. She had to have sometype of computer hooked up internally to her...to circumvent the pain in her muscles. she is only 9. but while her mum is in the hospital she has a nurse taking care of her 24/7.

All, if you would say a prayer or send some healing thoughts for my sister it would be greatly appreciated. My younger sister had a heart attack this morning. Her 9 year old daughter has Cebral Palsy...severe. Thus far ...My sister has had one surgery already and is looking to need another before the week is out. As stated all prayers and healing thoughts would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

I personally like a facial hair on a man. A mustach is good, a goatee is better but a beard, neatly.trimmed is best.

Might I suggest that not only do we raise a toast to my heroes, but go to http://www.opgratitude.com/wishlist.php and see what they need/want for the holidays. It would be nice to send some care packages over to them and let them KNOW we are thinking of them, holding them in our prayers for their safe return and while still there give them a bit of cheer for the holidays. just a thought I would pass along.

From my studies, true enough. In fact many of our Founding Fathers were in volved with smuggling, privateers, and pyrates as a manner of doing business. This was just a way to get around the excessive British taxes. So, they wouldn't think twice to hire their friends to roust the Royalies.

I know there seems to one reoccuring difference between the lads and lasses. Where the gents are visual, the ladies are aurial. A good many ladies will mention that a man's voice is much the turn on. I know a deep masculine voice can send shivers through me... and no extragance for me. A kind word, a phone call to tell me that I am being thought of, a gentle touch, being held...a playful spirit...a hearty laugh...an interesting mind... oK...and good strong hindie...

I am on the way of hopefully being numb. I am sitting here with a bottle of wine (only thing in the house I think) and have already worked my way half way through it. I'll let you know if it worked by the end of the second half. If not, there is a "store" walking distance from here. By the end of the evening I hope to feel numb. That is what my plans are for this evening. I have never done this before...never in my life...so not sure if it is going to work. If anyone is interested I will let you know later.

IMHO 1. movies do influence children and those making movies for kids to see should acknowledge this fact. TV shows have disclaimers stating no try these stunts. At the beginning of the credits perhaps movies such as these should have a side reel showing how some of the safety factors are done for stunts such as these. I know Jackie Chan many times have this in his movies...might be time others think about imitating him. 2. yes children need supervision, but it stated the boy was told bedtime and went to his room, what is a parent suppose to do plop a chair down next to a child's bed and never move. Sometimes you have to walk away and when you do you silently pray all will be well. 3. you can talk to a child till you are blue in the face and it doesn't mean the child will accept or listen to it. How many times have we all been told we shouldn't do something and still did it...that goes for children a 1,000 times over. 4. people want to know how this could happen, his parents are trying to come to terms with this tragedy so not only was his ADHD given as a factor, the movie was given as a factor, his being on his own given as a factor, but a problem early start was given as a possible factor also...thus all things were being mention as an explanation plain and simple 5. This was a horrible accident with many contributing elements...however, the bottom line a boy is dead, and his parents will have to face this every day for the rest of their lives. All others are merely on the sidelines. My prayers are with the boy's family and friends, especially the parents, they are the ones with the indescribable and excruciating pain and sense of guilt of what if. For no parent is meant to outlive their child...the younger they are the harder it is... especially in a manner described ...a manner that is so senseless as this let alone we try to second guess this situation and blame them or accuse them of sdome wrong or by stating they thought their son was some sort of broken toy. My prayers are with them and all within this country that have lost loved ones ...May they find some comfort in their time of sorrow. .
