Well the car might be totaled but you're not, so that's a good thing! I love minivans - perfect for sleeping in at events - great for moving stuff - lots of room. I have a Toyota Sienna and love it! Except for the recent accident in a parking lot where I was backing up out of a parking spot and another lady on the other side backed out right into me - damage on driver's side near front tire - large dent and scratching. Then she had the nerve to say I hit her! Well the damage spoke for itself and I hope her insurance company raises her rates a lot! We however cannot afford to get the car fixed - having to pay a $500.00 deductible first ain't gonna happen. Once the frame is bent on any vehicle it will never be the same again. Have you ever seen vehicles on the road and the back end seems sort of off to one side or the other and the tires don't quite line up? That's a vehicle with frame damage from an accident. BTW- If anyone ever goes to buy a used vehicle, be sure and look for such a thing.

I think we can relate to this:
-
We can only hope a new person will have better insight, knowledge, how to write and show a story and provide a decent plot, good action and people who can actually act (no Orlando Bloom!). Perhaps this is asking too much, but we deserve a decent movie.

Welcome to the Pub! I promise not to take too much of advantage of you....but how about filling out your bio or tell us more about you.

So my roomate Bob and I decide to head out to the desert to get some more rocks for decor at our place. What are the odds of getting stuck again in the desert with my roomate Bob? 100% now. The first time in the mud up to the wheel wells, and now this time a rock. I told him to not play his testosterone big macho guy on me, but he does anyway regardless of the fact I had back surgery a month ago. So he's gotta do doughnuts in the sand, up and down hills, until he finally hit a rock which sent a shock through my back and I told him to stop and he just continued on until he hit another on and a second harder shock to my back and I was soooooo pissed! So then he tries to follow this little trail the off-road buggies use and turned the corner and instead of staying to the left, he went right and smack dab into two boulders. One wedged under my passenger side door of his Jeep and the other right in front of the car. We were stuck, no amount of trying to get out would work. In fact he broke his low-lock drive, so now he only has regular drive (yippeee!), which means he can't do desert driving anymore since he doesn't have the money to get the car fixed. Several people on their toys tried to pull us out, but no good. Finally a tow-truck driver had to be called out and managed to pull the car away from the boulders so we could go on our way. It cost me $50.00 bucks to the tow truck driver.....arrrggghhhhh! I made it clear to him that I would NEVER go back out to the desert again with him. When Boat's got home from work he just laughed at the whole thing.

As an excellent cheesecake maker, I've honestly tried to use Ricotta cheese, Nuefectel (or however it's spelled), cheese curds and none of them have the great taste of homemade cheesecake. It's cream cheese all the way.

Ships Bread taked from Tiding's of the 18th Century
Rumba Rue replied to Black Syren's topic in Galley
You make it first and tell the rest of us what it's like. -
I like bread pudding, but not with rum sauce that eateries seem to do. I've made my own and had to eat it all, cuz Boats doesn't like bread pudding...as I found out after I made it.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Crispy Cannibal.....well I figure that's what will happen when ye blow the candles out while drinking rum.

Hey I'm just an advertiser for him. I think he picked the dates because of 'Talk Like A Pyrate Day'. I also don't think he realized how many other events are going on at the same time. But for now it's in Sept.....everything has been signed, sealed, and done for this. Suggestion, send him a message about perhaps changing the month for next year. BTW- It's my understanding that Marty Klebba is helping Mitch with this event.
