  1. I quite liked the music from AWE. I'll get the soundtrack, I've got that of the first two movies too :)
  2. If you actually read the Vampirate books, you'll know what the crew of the Nocturne (the vampire ship) has sorted out to get their food. I don't want to post it here, because it would be a major spoiler.
  3. I bet they'll release it in one of those books with chords for song, piano and guitar soon enough. Disney knows they'll sell. There are books like that for various instruments of the first and second book too if I'm not mistaken.
  4. It's on the new CD.... "Yo Ho, all together hoist the colours high Heave Ho, theives and beggers Never shall we die..." Yet another version of the song to sing at Camarilla games and annoy everyone
  5. Review wise I'm noticing a strong anti-trilogy vibe amongst critics. It's almost that you can't be a critic and like sequals and triquels anymore. Frankly, I've never given a damn about reviews, I'll just make up my own mind :)
  6. (sorry for the late reply Christine, I was tremendously busy for a couple of days so couldn't check the forum earlier). I alas didn't get to stay for the extra scene (but I'll go back and watch it next week ) because the movie ended at 2am and my fiancé needed to be up for work at 6. It was 2.30 before we were home so I totally understood him not wanting to stay any longer for the extra scene. I agree with you that the after credit scene from the first one is still the best :)
  7. Yeah, him and Chun Yun Fat I absolutely agree. I would have loved to see more Norrington in AWE. And as for Chow Yun Fat: there's been made _such_ a big deal about Sao Feng (posters, promo images etc etc etc) and how long was he in the movie? 20 minutes in total? (probably less). I found that rather disappointing to be honest.
  8. Well it might not be any good for firing, but it's still a very pretty flintlock :)
  9. The monkey was indeed rather fabulous :) I bet tons of kids will want a monkey like that now :) Out of curiousity (and no I don't want a monkey, I have my hands full on the cat and the iguana as it is ^^), what kind of monkey is it? Does anyone know?
  10. Yeah I know that Belgium was getting an early release this time (which was long overdue since we had to wait like a week longer than everyone else for the first two movies).
  11. Rachel Hurd-Wood. The girl that played Wendy in the 2003 version of Peter Pan (amongst other things).
  12. I just got home from the Pirates of the Caribbean marathon at the theatre in Mechelen. And I must say that At World's End is really quite good :) I don't want to say more at this point, as I know not everyone has seen it yet :) (We got it in theatre's a day sooner, and an extra "day" sooner in avant-premiere. As far as 11.30 pm can be called sooner )
  13. oh cool, thanks! does anyone have clips in media player format btw? Then I can upload them to my Zen and PSP
  14. Sadly those only work if you're in the US
  15. And of course, none of the clips are available in my "area" Goddamn UScentralism! No offence to the Americans on this forum, but the "not available in your area" is getting on my nerves more than a little because it makes me miss out on so much
  16. Ok just please don't take this the wrong way. But I try to make an honest living designing and it really doesn't help if you publicly say you've copied one of my designs. If everyone starts copying my stuff, I'll be out of a living really fast. I can understand people doing it because they don't have money, but if you state it publicly, I just have to react. (Especially as a lot of the stuff is copyrighted to me) Because well, I don't like it when people do that. I don't want to force people to buy from me, but please understand that I spend a lot of time on my designs, and making stuff, and it's really not fun for me to see others just taking what I've done. I'm not someone that makes costumes etc as a hobby, I do it as a living. Thanks for the compliment though, it's always nice to hear that people like my designs.
  17. I joined on there, altough I have some serious issues with the fact that the map seems to be convinced that Belgium is in Germany ><
  18. Thanks for the tip Jill! I did a search for musketeer boots and I did find them online (and the more I saw them the more I liked them) but they start at a men's 8 and I have a women's 7 So I don't they'll fit me. Well they'll fit but they'll be way too big I hate having small feet *sulks*
  19. oh wow, I didn't know there was a version with lyrics! The only version I have is the Disney Pirates ride one which is instrumental :)
  20. Hello, Merlijn: Do you think I could borrow that lovely tricorn? It looks just my size. Pirate garb is so hard to find when you're a fringe character! Hey Rosy, if you're interested in getting one, send me a PM :) I still have plenty of felt :)
  21. Ah I didn't know that :) I did see Mega Block stuff in stores, and I thought it was just some other type of Duplo by another company. I don't own any of their stuff though. Sounds like they're a serious competition for Lego then, because Lego can get stupidly expensive. Thanks for sharing this bit of info Pogue :)
  22. I think it's time to go locate a Toys R Us in the UK Preferably London I've seen pics of that pirate TV & DVD, I wouldn't say no to those
  23. The stuff is actually by Lego :) They no longer just make things you can build, they have apparel, toys etc now too :) If you go to lego.com, and then to the shop and type in pirates, it'll give you all the search results :) That's how I got my stuff ^^ They actually do have actual Lego in pirate, but only in the Duplo range for small children, and that's rather on the expensive side But that should come up in the search results too. Actually, with PotC 3 coming out, we can but hope that Lego will pick up on a PotC range. After all, they've got a Batman and Harry Potter range too (I *think* they have a Spiderman range as well, but I could be mistaken).
