I didn't know they had released that, but I'm not surprised. When I'm in London next month then I'm definitely going to have a look in Borders (we don't have it in Belgium, boo hiss) and probably pick up quite a few books on PotC :)

My mum always quite liked watching pirate movies, so I grew up watching them together with her (I also grew up watching westerns with her and old skool horror movies with my dad. The western stuff didn't particulary catch on, but I still love pirates and horrors ^^) I thought the pirates were great, and it peeked my interest and I've been interested ever since :)

So what's the deal with Will? Is he still cursed? Or had the curse lifted and is he human again? And if he's human again, what about his heart? Is it suddenly going to magically pop back into his body or something

I can't afford going to anything in Germany, public transport is just too goddamn expensive The only things outside of Belgium I manage to go to are Elf Fantasy Fair and Castlefest, both in the Netherlands :)

Wait, you mean Norrington was killed by his own sword instead. Cuz Wil was stabbed by Davy Jones. Wil won't look like Davy Jones because his love, Elizabeth, is faithful to him. Unlike how Tia Dalma/Calypso was to Davy Jones. He also wasn't doing other things he was supposed to as well. Wil becomes free of the curse in 10 years because of Elizabeth staying faithful to him. Somewhere I read about the bucket of water that Davy Jones stood in to be on land with Beckett, Wil, Barbossa, Elizabeth and Jack. They then wondered why Wil couldn't do the same to see Elizabeth. How funny would that be, standing in the bucket of water in order to have sex with Elizabeth before the 10 years is up-LOL! I *think* (but I might be wrong), that Norrington ended stabbed with his own sword (the one made by Will) and that Jones took it along and ended stabbing Will with it (but like I said, I may very well be wrong here, I'm sure someone remembers the sword bit better than me ^^). Christine, I just had to laugh so much over your bucket comment :) I think Will passed on doing that, because he's such a good boy that wouldn't forsake his duty

Frankly I found that prison much more disturbing than the violence in AWE. Mainly because of the atmosphere than anything else. I found the violence in AWE much easier to deal with because it was such obvious movie violence. Frankly, as for children seeing AWE: I think it depends on the child. I know children that get scared at seeing Hades in Hercules, or some of the aliens in Lilo & Stitch and I know others that will watch horror movies without being even remotely scared. It all depends on the person watching how they'll react.
