Woah! No way! Ice Pirates is a great flick! And "A Pirate Movie" is a comedy/satire, so it was supposed to be awful.

I own Swashbuckler... I don't love it, but I don't hate it. I watch it once a month, so it shows that I do like it because I can tolerate it. Some folks say Cutthroat Island is a horrible film. It's certainly don't hate it... but I can stand watching it more than PotC. Not that I hate PotC. Quite the opposite. Worst "Pirate" film would have to go to "The Pirate" starring Gene Kelly. Now, I love Gene Kelly. I love musicals. I love lighthearted films. But somehow this movie was just plain bad all together.

Um... I'm sorry me mind drifted off there for a day or two. What was the question again?

I've bought more than I care to count by now... But I have 30 out of the 47 Pirates. Not counting the Bloody throne... thanks for the heads up! Beware the breaking of sails though... it happened to me last night... arrr...

I've bought a box of this stuff! It's not really a card game though. True, they're printed on cards, but you punch out crew members, punch out a ship and build it, and sail around. So more like "card-esque" There are 47 different pirate faction cards! Arrrr!

Interesting bit of information that just came down the pike... Sammy, the main robot seen in trailers for "I, Robot", is Steve the Pirate.

Well I live in Gainesville, My wife and I are driving down to Ft Myers to meet some friends today (Thursday evening 7/15). We're taking a fast ferry ship on Friday the 16th. So we'll get there the 16th around noonish. Staying until Monday I beleive, then it's back to Ft Meyers.

Next week I'm going to Key West for a week of plunderin' Any good pirate shops to dally in?

Um... #1, the movie doesn't suck. Check the numbers. It's doing quite well. #2 Dodgeball is banned. For kids still in school. For us adults, we can play it whenever we choose. Check the Game Show Network. And adult leagues do exist.

How to age leather... 1) Show leather things from it's childhood 2) Ask teens in presence of leather whether they know about leather's childhood things. 3) Leather will feel aged almost immediately.

I saw the movie Dodgeball last night. Frelling hillarious! Best part is, Steve the Pirate! A must see.

Sodomites, named after the Biblical Sodom (As in Sodom and Gomorrah). God destroyed both cities with fire from Heaven due to their sins. Flash forward. Sodomy became the act of... let me put this delicately. Bootysex. Legally nowadays Sodomy covers anal and oral copulation. Also referred to Buggery or Buggering for the Brits. Especially for pyracy and colonial purposes. I know too much about stuff...

Cutthroat Island. It's cheesy... and critics hated it! But I love it. I would say... no PotC though. Expand your horizons people! PotC is a great movie that did revitalize the pirate genre... but give it a rest.
