  1. I haven't yet. But I think they had a good seller rating (it was yesterday....I'm having trouble remembering ten minutes ago)...so it should be ok.
  2. OMG....that is so what I thought when I met Mickey. Only it wasn't muskets at the time...it was Viking Swords and chain mail. :)
  3. I did send you the link to the eBay seller that has the 99 colours of silk taffeta, didn't I? I plan on ordering some of the gold/pink I think. I don't care if I am not allowed any more pink. I like it.
  4. Is Indiana weather like Ohio? Cause the other day it was 90....the next day it barely made 70....and then it rained.
  5. Crap. The Canadian is creating an Army.....
  6. You can do that too hun....I'm ok with it. Lob has no thunder....his cousin on the other hand....
  7. Man...BL and Lob are gonna have to hang out at Paynestown....
  8. The men folk were putting on a fencing spectacular, just for us. We really hadn't been paying much attention... .....till they told us they were only doing fighting for us.
  9. Ash did most of the food...I just brought some fruit, cheese, and extra bread. That whole drink cooler thing is totally just to help keep people from dehydrating. Shop Smart. Shop S Mart.
  10. I used 3 when I tried it with the DMC linen embroidery floss. Once splitting it up, I did ply it and it worked just fine.
  11. Yeah....they let women shoot...its alot hotter than watching other guys shoot, apparently.
  12. Uh? I'm the Redcoats wife. Haha! I've actually been trying to figure out a role for myself and I seem to be indecisive. (I do,however, intend on firing a canon as often as possible at pip) Other than that...its negotiable. :)
  13. Photos Courtesy of Kate and Mickey Souris and fabulous guest photographer, Lady Brower. :)

  16. So we're almost home and I couldn't wait to post about this event. So here I am, feet up on the dashboard, still in kitn toes poking through the holes in my stockings, posting on my pink Blackberry. Yeah, that's right. Mickey and I arrived in Havre De Grace at 4:30 Friday afternoon, a stark contrast to our usual 2 am show times. Also, we didn't get lost once or have to call anyone for directions! Black John showed up not long after and we stood around and talked a while before starting to set up camp under a lovely shade tree. Shortly, the Half Moon Maurauders showed up and pitched camp too. Lady Brower and I had been yapping on the phone and pm-ing back and forth for a few weeks, we we were quick friends. Oh. Her husband's pretty awesome too. Crew too. Instead of cooking, we went out to dinner at a fabulous Irish Pubn ate too much, drank too much, then headed back to camp to drink more. I, however, went to bed. But before that, Black John so kindly asked me what I wanted to do on Saturday. To which I replied: "I want to blow some crap up". And so we did. Many battles ensued much to the abject delight of the obviously entertainment starved public. I got to shoot and even be on a canon crew. Huzzah! The battles were fantastic and completely a surprise, especially when Munk decided to drop his weapon and charge the militia with an axe, only to die gloriously in battle. Mickey Souris, being the French Canadian that he is, ran away screaming from battle (something about his gun 'wiffing')n only to sneak up behind the invading pirate cre, shoot the Captain and promptly draw the battle to a conculsion. Fabulous event. The hospitality was wonderful, the company was more than fantasticn and this is definately an event we will go back to.
  17. Uh...they don't want to camp near Mickey Souris because of Mickey...it's cause they know Miss Kate will bake bread and rum cakes and roll shot all while chasing them down with sunscreen and water. And because Miss Kate smells markedly better than Mickey. Like roses, even. Tartan Jack- would you like the use of our fly tent for the event?
  18. MY TWINS! *tacklehug* Oh....right... Happy Birthday too!
  19. He sent flowers to my office.... :)
  20. Is there a better source for a large canvas (all cotton) one that won't require extensive sewing? Jack....Michael and I were talking about it and happened upon the realization that our first tent (a Viking Geteld from when we were doing Viking schtuff...) was made entirely out of 100% cotton canvas that we purchased at WalMart. I pre-shrunk it (and dyed it a madder red color) in the washer and dried it on high heat. Michael thought that it would take about 7-8 yards before shrinking. It was $4.44 per yard (about $35 if you buy 8 yards)...And I think you would only really have to do one flat felled seam on a sewing machine. Don't make the stitches too tight though, out friend Meghan learned that the hard way as too tight stitches made leak points in one of the getelds that she made. Now that I think about it, she handsewed that out of wool....but I would imagine she would offer the same advise with cotton canvas. Oh and also, we will be bringing the tarp tent that weekend if either you or Mr. Tignor doesn't get his respective abode finished....either of you or both are more than welcome to use it. :)
  21. Thriller kicked major ass....I agree. Earth Song was my ABSOLUTE favorite. Allegations aren't the same as truth. There's my take on that. Other than that....I absolutely loved him since I was a kid. Nothing's going to change that.
  22. http://s299.photobucket.com/albums/mm317/f...ria%2005-09-09/ They are up on there now, Mission.
  23. Kate is pretty well set on flying. Especially if Becky is in the front seat and Kate can't sit there....backseats are the worst for carsickness.... Kate and Lily will be VERY WELL BEHAVED....as well behaved as two pirate ladies can be in the company of BIB.......ahem. :)
