Ashleys Book of knots should have it.... but I haven't seen a copy, so yer stuck with Hervey Garrett Smith's commonly avalible book.... Here it is on Amizon.... but it's an easy book to find..... Yeah.... but then no one would ever remember wot was in That tupperware container..... you know... the one with the green stuff growing in it........ So even refrigeratin' it wouldn't help..... Besides.... we're a buncha Pyrates.... the kinda people wot putt the tags offa mattress just cause it says not to.....

I've used nails or brass rod as rivets.... you just have to be sure that there is a washer or something that will hold them in place once you have peaned the ends over...... ( or pean the snot outta them so there is enough metal to hold the scales in place.....) It's happily cheap, and it works.....

I saw that Trailer the other day, (OK I was inna Bar, I don't have a T.V. at home) but when I asked if anyone knew what it was about , no one knew.... The Trailer does look good... I wanted to get into WWII reenacting, but from what I can find out, everyone is SS or American Airborne.... (OK... I heard a rumor that there was a British unit...) And most units close to me are in Southern California.... I wanted to put together a reenactment of Bill Maudlin cartoons (Willie and Joe) I figured that way, I wouldn't offend some people, and the guys that really were there would understand it.... (sorry, that's the very short version of something much longer....)
