We got word the there is going to be a writers strike come May 2. Everything not registered by then will be held up til Neptune knows when. It's alway fatal to TV shows but... features can be affected too. Keep your fingers crossed all is done on the scripts for POTC before then. (sigh)

Johnny Depp was nominated this morning for a Best Actor SAG award. While the odds are high, with this and the Golden Globe nomination... might'n the lad be on the incoming tides of an Oscar nomination?? We sure hope so! But... why was the" MOVIE "gone?

I canna help ya with the rules of gasparilla... but I can with plane travel. I've had to fly many times with my weapons and I've had no grief whatsoever. I put all my lovely, pointy things in a locking golf club transport. They are not soft like the bags but hard plastic (and some are made of metal) THey go into the cargo hols and I've never had so much as a wisp of damage. Now, I did travel a good deal at one time so I had invested in a good one... but I've seen some listed at a very reasonable cost. Hope this is of some help lass.

To be fair... the lad is as nice as they come. He seems (so far) uneffected by his stardom and was polite and kind with everyone he worked with while at Disney.
