  1. GREAT emoitcon!! Reminds me of Danny Kaye.
  2. Might we make that a Vanilla coke?? I have it on the best authority that it's very popular with the swordmasters.
  3. What bluster. Anyone not impressed with your handiwork is a fool, says I.
  4. (Chuckle) Orlando Bloom won't live to see 30years old if'n he doesn't stop jumping off the roof of mobil dressing rooms onto cardboard boxes. Welcome Elizabeth. Your turn to buy the drinks.
  5. Hey, no problem. It's why I get paid the mediocre bucks!
  6. Aye, I hadn't read any other thread on the swords and had no idea they were Deepeeka. Therein lies the answer to all my questions. They are nice lookers though Sparrow!
  7. It's hard to have a casting call when the scripts not even finished. No casting calls on are the schedules that have come across my desk. And I see all of them for Bruckheimer.
  8. Now, now... beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I would say most here are not blind and did see the details of the coat. What you see as wonderful, other may be unimpressed with. (shrug) It's simply a matter of preference so thar be no need to take offence. And... true enough, there were coats to rival this one at a few faires last season. I saw several. I however did not check prices except for one that was going for $585.00, since I was not in the market for one... finding thievery MUCH more to m'likeing! So, I'm just sayiong keep a weatehr eye out this season and you just may find such a coat. Now.... quality hats, there is something worth scrounging for!
  9. No need to take offence CJS. They were simply questions from folks that were interested. Your time and efforts are appreciated.
  10. I agree. Need more info about the steel used, point of balance, tang width, etc. The price seems to good to figure as a good usable piece. I've had several custom swords made for me over the years and each has run at least $400. Even decent production-line items of high quality carbon steel will cost $200-$300. Aye! Indeed, I've several swords from Lundegaard, all custom crafted for m'self alone and they are a dear price. But WORTH the price when you are dueling for real. Safety first. I want a weapon that won't fly to bits and perhaps(really) kill or injure my partner nor a by stander. Well, alright... I can think of one or two. Maybe. Any more info will be appreciated lad.
  11. LILLIE!!!!!!! (Where the'ell you been ??)
  12. Did they give you any of the specs? Having to acquire (to retire) swords I can work with... I'm thinking these may not be *battle ready* at such a price. Did they say if these could be functional or are they just to wear for the glory of the piece? Any additional info would be welcome!
  13. I swear, as of Dec 24th there were NO spy-Kid type monsters eating ANYONES ship! But if anything is mentioned along those lines you'll be the second to know!
  14. Tisk, tisk m'lad.... Know ye not that old age and treachery will overcome youth and skill?? (Robert Shaw, Life lesson #21)
  15. Okay then PQ... that was all I wanted to hear! Hugs to all please.
  16. We felt it here in L.A. as a long roller.... nothing like the jolt they all must have felt. Report is one dead and Paso Robles is highly damaged. THe phones are out to Cambria but I talked with friends in Carmel. Not a very nice Christmas gift. Perhaps when Power comes back on we'll hear from the rest f them. (((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))) my Pirates!
  17. If'n your at anchor up North give a yell and let us know your alright. M'own friends in Cambria and Carmel are still reeling. Calire? Pirate?
  18. And here is my wish and Prayer that you all remain safe and filled with the joys that our lives allow. Happy Holidays!! http://disney.go.com/twdcholiday/ By the way... this is from Herself, my Clancy too!
  19. Broken in lad, broken in I prefer my pirates with a mite of expierence. Oh, and being able to defend himself comes in handy as well.
  20. Ahhhh Piratea... I'll wager it's a cause good young Will-the-lesser has his popularity powered at the moment by the pre teen hoards. (My 11 year old cousin a shining example) It's the family joke at the moment that she's come'n of age and that her first REAL crush is of course, a Pirate. Now now ladies... afore anyone starts throwing things at me I know that the *adult* lassies also find him fair of face and form... I just lke m'own lads a mite less... pristine. Anyhow, that is why there seems t'be more for thieve'n on eBay I'll be after make'n wager.
  21. *raises eyebrow at Scupper* And pray tell, what exactly be it of Johnny's and Russell's that you be willing to hold fer us wenches to have a go at?????? A fair question!! A just and right question! (Looking aside at Scupper and waiting.... for a reply) (chuckle)
  22. Works for me. (and besides, I can't stand Russel Crowe) Sorry Red Maria... he may be a fine actor but he's a not so nice human being.
  23. Nay lad, them "academy" types don't give a fig how long a film be in the theaters. They be about "art", not popularity. Well lad, to be right honest *Finding Nemo* made more money but then it was released earlier. Had more time to rob the pubic. And right you are Cap't... public glee has nothing to do with awards. POTC wasn't even nominated for best picture for the Gobes nor Gore for it's Directing. (shurg) We expected no less yet we hold out hope for the Oscars. M'self, I would have liked to have seen Jeffery Rush given a nod. "Means no." (chuckle) Smarmy and perfect he was!
  24. MMmmmmmmm..... Smooth as silk lass, smooth as silk.
