  1. I offered ta buy Diego's tickets but got no reply... and now I may have changed me little mind whot I got of it.....I be stayin' at the Marriott 'cause I can stay there free.... Must be goin' now...Best regards....
  2. Pirates of Polynesia.....uhm...heard of a new crew with that name.... and they certainly loves their Mai Tai's..... uhm...who could that be? As fer that mate Callenish... he's a fyne pyrate mate and always a gent....I can swears on that one.... with a Mai Tai in me hand would be better.....he he......
  3. Fyne thoughts of overseas travel dear Sweet Lady Rummy.... me and mine be plannin' our first trip to England this year! Tryin' a balancin' it wif Pyrate events thar.... I hear tell weather is an important factor in the tyme we goes as well... .....Please keep us all posted on what ye does.... I wants ta read everything! Yers,
  4. ditto Pirate Pete!.............no fridays mostly... mostly... keep it simple Keep it clean Never say a cross word That you really don't mean I don't do windows, nor do floors but really don't mind doin' A Piratin' Gig every once in a while!
  5. Wonderful says I.....ah all these guilds and events... 2006 should prove to be a Pyrat'in year to go down in the history books as way fun!
  6. aye! I made ye a bonifide offer and didn't even give you the full skinny poop.......Life is too darn short to be anything but happy Says I.
  7. Tis first in the morn, of what kingdom I am not certain..and the readin' of this fyne story by the Pyrate Diego took me aback! Brave ye be to write so free, surely ye be a true Pyrate. Tis America for certain, the land we are in.... and prose always has a place here. Wishin' ye land-locked "Pyrates of the South" a great good fortune as ye creates yer new Pyrate guild/group. If'n ye would have me, I'd be charmed to come and visit, play and help with them story tellin's! Best to ye all this Holiday season!
  8. Nuthin' wrong with a Pyrate Party! ...thinks that's whot them authentic 16th century mates did mostly when they weren't starvin' at sea.....
  9. Aye! Fyne Photo's of PIP'05...much thanks there lad fer sharin' them.... looks like the fort was hospitable quarters... never mind the ghosts!... and Anne B. and Mary R....thanks fer gettin' a pic of them two in Gaol.... Cheers...
  10. Just dropped by since the topic was me favorite! Flags..... oh yes! Thanks for the historical info...my latest challenge is a broadcloth French Norman creation. For some reason, pyrate folks desire to see tallships on their flags... not "period"...even though very colourful. More talk of what materials to make flags out of would be appreciated....like I says "we all can't dine on silk".....even heard of one pirate-flag relic made out of hide or skin? true? Cheers, D.L.
  11. quite impressive.... now whot does ye think of all us talented Pyrates? Wish we could make a livin' outta it? Me personally, I be pickin' out my street corner as I write this.... ha ha he he...
  12. PIP, heard the Marriott got flooded, heard less rooms for gratis, heard gunners from California comin' with powder this tyme! heard Mad Eye ain't comin' and heard myself say I can come the last weekend of the event... also heard "the most phtographed pirate of 2005-California" will be making her appearance this year: Ms.Liberte Sparrow and spouse Black Dean. Heard there will be more campin' on the beach of Fort Meyers too..... ....
  13. Aye, thar be a couple of Pyratical new years parties heard tell fer Southern California....remember the old party hopping? Ye has a car full of pirates going from one party to the next.... only no one wants to draw the "designated driver" card!
  14. Ahoy Mates, heart warming stories of musical talents.... myself, well, piano, soprano and alto recorder (they are old wooden things with great sounds-no jokes ya pirate scum), guitar(who doesn't try their hand at it mates?!)...and after singin' second soprano( which is strange in itself)-recordin' 5 albums and performin' over the years with many, many groups on stage--then bein' a blues singer til my partner off'd himself one night ( true-quit yer laughin you!).... I joined this group called N.Providence. And their sound needed a harmonica (Harp)- seemed like a right nice thing to play I thought. It was a creative group just tryin' out their sound then. Warmest bunch of folks I tell ya.All smiles and pirate joy it was. Well, (sittin' back in me chair with a tavern pipe)I started spendin' money on different harps-- The Harp House of New Jersey-- oh now that's the place mates....great selection, honest dealin'( they never heard of pirates then he he).... with wooden reeds, and fine one key selection of harps....The idea of the chromo-harp-metal- just doesn't have the quality-- you gotta do it in key. Not everyone likes the same things though-- me, I just loves the music! And I be a free agent now.... oh that's like ah a PYRATE! Cheers ya Pyrate scum, who loves ya baby! p.s. I gots a tamborine.. like a guitar or a mandolin, everyone gots something hidden away?! How about you?
