This morning there was a car parked across the street and it had a big sticker on it's side saying "got Solar"...and so I looked it up on the internet thinking to find some company that installs solar...I did find some, but then I stumbled on the website that makes the stickers and found this one...I had to share.. got XXXX? weby

This is awfull, totally awfull! I work with a greek engineer gal I should ask her if everyone back home is okay. When I heard the coverage of the story I was so saddened...they said that a french tourist couple going for a hike was caught in the blaze and when they recovered the bodies they were clutching to each other...how sad! Maybe some of our experienced fire-fighters from Cali could go and help with some tactics?

This is such a cute campy show I love it. Has anyone watched it from here? Now it would interesting if they had one...called....."Who wants to be a Pirate?"

ha ha ha,,...that's so funny it happened to be on the Latino station the other night and was listed as "La Pirata"...beau and I started to watch it...and I am thinking hey this is good...it reminds me of another film..I am thinking...oh yeah Cuthroat Island...then I went and pulled it out of my film drawer and produced the VHS tape I bought for a 3 for 20 buck gig at Hollywood Vid. I said to beau we don't have to watch it in spanish I have it....we chuckled because the name change threw us off. I liked it...I liked it from the first time I saw it and still again I like it. Joshua...I love those three movies as well. So far I only have Captain Blood. (ooh..Jamie..boy!)

geez I know I have some vintage 60's and 70's, Avon brand new, in boxes never opened in a train case in my old bedroom closet at my parents house. ...and my mom used to collect Hot Wheel VW's, plus Matchbox VW's and then other die cast VW's.

I have collected too much as well and some of it has to go as well. Teddy Bear collection...most of it has to go, only keeping the best. Porcelian dolls, most of them I got rid of...still have a few more to get rid of. ( I have two pirate dolls that I made from potter's clay) Trinket boxes...Limoges boxes Tons of Christmas, Easter, Halloween/Fall decorations...way too many. Minature porcellain animal figurines *Vintage porcelain or pottery animals...which are my pride and joy and will keep those if all other collections are out the door...I started it when I was a little girl. Tons of ribbon spools...I have so much craft stuff, too much for my tiny house. I have to go through all of that stuff and start clearing out.

Oh Capt. Grey where did you find that...THAT IS EXCELLENT...yeah can we add that icon to the Spammers posts? Spam, spam, spam, spam and spam, spam, spam, spam, spam and sausage and eggs and spam...boy I am so starved right now and would eat SPAM....! Can we have SPAM icon to identify them with...a SPAM smiley face?

My beau happened to have rented this one this week. All though I must say the costumes are fantastic the scenary is fantastic..true to how horrible and wretched life was back in those days..the movie is too horrifying to me. I had to stop watching it at the point where he goes after the rich girl in the end. Very troubling scenes...reminds me of an earlier century's Silence of the Lambs. I got so ticked at him for renting such a gruesome flick, but to others who can deal with this genre probably will like it.

I have been trying to follow up on her case, but can find nothing on line. Did anyone ever hear of the outcome, did she really commit suicide?

I feel sorry for Nature and what we have done to it...if only we tried to always live along with Nature and not abuse it....SIGh!

Hmmm, well we have recycle bins in the alley, and I try to dig out all the recyclable stuff out of my trash and put it in there before I throw the rest away. (I really got to get back to composting!) I hate trowing away food, so anything that can be edible by the creatures outside they get it, so the crows, jays, asst of birds and squirrels love me. I recycle a lot of stuff due to my arts and crafts, I reuse containers and plastic packaging and the styrofoam under meat for my art supplies (cleaned of course first). I don't throw any old household goods or clothes away..that all goes to the Thrift shops. I am starting to use the new bulbs, and turn off lights and appliances when not in use. I try to do many runs to various places on a strategic path while driving.

Hello fellow Pyrates, Last night I was watching CSPAN and they had an interview with the founder of Wikipedia. I had never known how it was started, it was trully interesting. The founder mentioned there are many splinter wikia and since there is none on the topic of Pirates, (perhaps someone here may get one started..hmmm Carricolli comes to mind...lol) they do have a POTC wiki.
