Alas I wish I could attend, but I will be channeling my alter-ego "Black Hearted Pearl of 1874" at a SASS event. Iron Bess & Jamaica Rose, please say "Ahoy" to everyone for me and I'll see you at OFMD.

Alas I would have loved to attended, but as Jamaica Rose pointed out, Big Bear Pirate Faire was the same weekend and we are commited to their endeavors. Perhaps next year, the event will not conflict with Big Bear and more vendors and entertainers will be able to attend. I would have loved to bid on some of the POTC auction items. I'm a bit of an addict for that stuff.

me mate got me a double barreled flintlock, but alas it is too heavy for me to lift. So I bashed him in the head with it instead...just kidding. It was Black Hearted Pearl at New Pirate Beach with the Candlestick. ;-)

Funny the weapons that were were used in the pirate v. knight episode were up at Big Bear Pirate Faire with me this weekend, including the beautiful boarding axe those idiots polished after denting it on the knights helmet. You may have met the 'actor' and 'specialist', but you didn't meet the special effects expert or armorer. Also, the yacuza v. mafia weapons are cleaned and in storage waiting for the next call from Morning Star. Aye Mates, Me sources say there be a new show on Spike TV where they pit different warriors from different genres against each other. The show premiered April 8th and there be an episode on April 28th about pirate vs. knight. There be little doubt in me mind that the pirate wins for the pirate has the biggest gun and I know that gun well.
