A friend of mine insists that he once saw an early concept drawing of Jack Sparrow as a kilt clad Scotsman. First, I am wondering IF there is such a drawing. Assuming above is TRUE- Second, IF I can get my hands on a copy of it. Waiting impatiently,

I enjoyed POTC 3 AWE but I had had some questions and concerns. Perhaps a few things were cut during the editing phase of production. I don't know. But maybe you do or at least have your own ideas... When Jack sees/ speaks to the multiple Jacks is it an effect of the Locker or does he always this kind of crazy drama going on in his head? Why the heck would Beckett want to kill the Kraken? He could destroy anyone with that beast! Are the spirits in the water different from the spirits in the boats (Like Gov. Swan)? If Beckett wanted Jack dead so badly why didn't he just kill him instead of locking him in the hold on the Dutchman? What was the past relationship bet…

Saw a great display of POTC books at my favorite Borders today. Noticed a few books that I had not yet picked up. One was a "Making of the POTC" and another was a DK book on the trilogy. Just wondered if any of you read these titles and could give me your opinion.

Has anyone seen/have a pic of Jack Sparrow's flag at the end of At World's End? I remember it is based on the "Avery" Flag with the sparrow from Jack's tattoo in red. I am looking for a grap/pic/image of the flag used, so I can see the details (head straight or cocked back/bandana/wrap all the way around or like Jack's/etc). My google searches have turned up NOTHING.

I was out of country in Guam and saw the last showing AWE for the night at alocal movie house in the mall the night before I flew out to Palau. I just got back after a 27 hr. flight and I am going to see it here in the states just to make sure the scenes aren't different. I'll give you an update later of what I think I remember NVBarbossa

Okay, I have it from those who care and those who know after a few well placed emails.... I am unable to neither explain anything else nor answer any major plot holes for you. As of now anything that was in the scripts is kept as possible fodder for future uses. Sorry, but creative possession holds sway over crew curiosity. However it looks like in time, more things will be answered so.... toss out your best theories..... Sorry, really sorry mates.

We have all seen the multitude of Ren Fairs right? I was thinking of a pirate fair. What would you all like to see at one? What do you think would work best. Do you think that a Carrabiean theam would be better or a general theam. Of course there would have to be water involved but how much and to what end? How long should it be open. Sorry about the spelling.

I was watching Flynn's Captain Blood and noticed that the ship he steals from the Spanish looks rather like a ship fought over by Sparrow and Barbosa. Look and see for yourself!!!!!!!!!

I was in a bookstore today, and this caught my eye: ... so I bought a copy. Not sure if I'm going to read it right away, or tuck it away for light summer reading. Love the bat-wing "sails"! Although... I would prefer something in this vein that was intended for a more mature audience. Can anyone recommend some pirate-themed sci-fi or fantasy novels for adults? And in the meantime ... has anyone else read Vampirates? Did you enjoy it? Cheers, Hester

Can anyone identify the source of this picture? It looks like a movie still. Is it Billy Dove in The Black Pirate from 1926? And can anyone identify the original source of the picture in my sig line? It looks like it might be from a Vaudeville production, I think. Chole, what did you discover in your Googling? Cheers, Hester

Now, this is by no means high literature. More along the lines of... a B-movie. Y'know, where most of the budget is burned up on creature makeup. The late, late show... Always willing to hear constructive criticism...

Returned home on Sunday from a very exhausting but fabulous vacation in California. We did the Red Carpet at Disneyland and my guardian Angel and dear friend led us to the front row seats on the red carpet! We were able to get eveyrone's autograph, except for Jack the Monkey, close up pictures, hugs and kisses and adore Johnny from head to toe. The photos are about the same as the press releases so there's no sense in posting them. The next day we traveled to Whittier to do Marty Klebba's fundraiser. The line up started at 9am and the shop opened at noon. The line was estimated at 1000, well over what I had anticipated. Vince Lozano, Treva Etienne, Maxie Santilla…

You can pre-order it at Amazon for $12.99. Go here. I am starting this separate from the merch. thread because I expect I will have much to say about this one way or the other once I get it and give it a few listens. While I am a soundtrack collector in general, I rarely buy them in advance...here's hoping for a soundtrack full of good music.
