^ I met my husband because I was friends with his first wife. I was in their huge, SCA equestian wedding. The marriage lasted barely a year. We've been married for over 16 years, and we still have romance.

< Romance is little, caring gestures, silly surprises (like finding pirate socks in your suitcase), and courtesy. It takes so little effort to be romantic, I am surprised that so many people aren't.

V Pass the question on - How did you meet your spouse...or pet? :D

^ Encased her in plaster. Details here.

< Okay, romance isn't overrated. Everyday life is underrated, then. Sometimes, doing the dishes for someone too exhausted to face them is romantic.

^ Yes, hopeless, total disaster! Only the once, and I learned my lesson!

< Long Tom, that's what I meant. Doing the dishes for someone exhausted is romantic and caring - and it didn't cost you a dime.

V The blind date question is a good one. Any horror stories?

^ I guess the last time I thought I would get into a physical fight was middle school. Trying to stand up for my twin sister. The girl who started the whole thing saw me coming ...along with six other friends. I called her bluff. She walked away saying nothing.

< I was always brought up to think that well educated, well bread individuals will always be able to discuss things/talk things out and find a reasonable solution to the issue at hand. Violence is not the answer...no matter how badly you wish to thump the other guy! ;)
