Patrick Hand Posted September 17, 2007 Author Posted September 17, 2007 Hey... less than a week to go...... (well I leave on Friday... it's an 8+ hour drive fer me ter get thar........)
Ransom Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 Since there will be so many Pub members at Ojai, would it be possible to get a group photo shoot together? Pick a time and have everyone meet up, then have a designated photographer, who we could all pass our cameras to and they could take the photo, so we would each end up with one. Just an idea, but it would be great if we could manage it. ...schooners, islands, and maroons and buccaneers and buried gold... Red-Handed Jill Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 Why don't we all meet at the Tales camp, then? It's fairly centrally located and would make a good backdrop for the pictures.
Ransom Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 Since I don't know the schedule of events taking place during the day, what would be a good time to meet? Preferably Saturday, as I know some are only coming that one day - Iron Bess, and Jacky Tar, to name two. ...schooners, islands, and maroons and buccaneers and buried gold... You can do everything right, strictly according to procedure, on the ocean, and it'll still kill you. Red-Handed Jill Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 How about at noon? The public will be at the food vendor's booths, so it should be a bit less crowded.
Rumba Rue Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 But what weekend? Some are coming only the first or the second so it's going to be difficult to gather all. I'm there both weekends.
Red-Handed Jill Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 Most of us out-of-town pirates will be there the first weekend, so why don't we make it the first weekend? Ransom, Oderless Eye and Jacky Tar will be there then, as well as Iron Bess, Patt and myself (in the Tales encampment.)
Ransom Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 I read the back posts in this thread, and it seems most are coming the first weekend, and some only for Saturday. So, noon on Saturday the 22 would probably be the best. Those that come on the second weekend could also do a group shot, and then we could exchange/share photos after the event? ...schooners, islands, and maroons and buccaneers and buried gold... Durty Mick Moon Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 aye, help out an old pirate n keep ye best eyes out for this homely ol mug as I be lookin for ye...me eyesight ain't the best specially after me first grog in the mornin ergo the shades (they are period, just a different period )....n I'll be buyin a round for sure....high noon it be saturday at the Tales site...
Ace of Harbor Bay Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 For those that will be there the second weekend... We could meet in the Pirates of Harbor Bay encampment in between our performances for a picture. Last year we met in front of my vendor booth. Our "treasure cove" would be a much better backdrop as it's made to be used for photo ops anyway. Our stage shows are 30 minutes and are at: 12:00 2:30 and 4:30 So anytime in between would work. www.pirate4hire.com Pirates of Harbor Bay
