You really captured the feeling of the event from a participants perspective, which was kind of cool for me since I am too far away (Germany) to attend. Everything from the convenience store pit stops to the late night around the fire really brought back memories. Thanks for posting. Ace of Harbor Bay Posted October 8, 2007 Share Posted October 8, 2007 Here are a couple of shots of our encampment. Can't see the whole thing but this was the genral feel. It became a gathering spot for picture taking and dressing in our gear and hats and posing on the treasure throne. And being our first year with an encampment there, we were proud to accept the award as best encampment or whatever they call it there Tony from Sword and the stone hung out quite a bit as his son loved shooting me with his peatnut crossbow. I also bought one of his screen used swords from POTC2&3. When I get it I'll have to post a pic in Plunder :) the treasure throne!
