For boarding I would have to say cannon fire as well., however Not Big Holes., but rather "Grapeshot"., as a pirate I would not want tosink my prize...., their ship., nor its contents., and of course if we killed everyone.,we wouldnt learn nuthin. Also a flinter is such a much slower moving projectile compared to todays weapons. I would like to just touch on that for a moment. If you were to take say a watermelon and shoot it with a 357 (Sounds devistating doesnt it) or on the other hand shoot it with a .50 caliber or better flinter (take the .62 calliber sea service) which would be more devistating ? I would argue to no end given a standard lead projectile.,not a hollow point or some other modern trick., the Flinter is devistatingly more damaging. The slower velocity would not go thru the victim., but rather enter his body pick him up off the ground and lay him on his back. WHAMM ! like getting hit with a bus. With practice a flinter is fairly accurate., especially the smally calibers., the queen anne is a great choice. There are stories of people taking many hits today....., but not many took more than one flinter hit and were able to still stand., it just didnt happen., Blackbeards taken it was a fluke., and he made history. My choice for a boarding pistol., simple., a brace of .62's all loaded with grape ! (Grape is easier to hit something ) a volley pistol triple .32's and then a cutlass and a steel war hammer used in the left hand for trapping spiking and ripping. :)

When you deal with the Police Dept and Fire Dept .,getting high is not a good idea. When you work with hospitals nursing homes restaurants schools and realitors getting high is not a good idea. When you lead scuba diving events and are a rescue diver getting high is not a good idea. When you you operate power tools and equipment getting high is not a good idea. When you captain a ship getting high is not a good idea. When you fire cannons mortars and flintlocks mixing blackpowder with dope is not a good idea. If you ever want to do any of these things and do them well., getting high isnt a good idea. Getting high isnt on my list of things to do to better myself or make others feel safe while they are around these activities I so enjoy. If you do get high thats your business., but please dont be a stoned scuba diver and please dont attempt to pilot the vessle out of the marina around other expensive vessles., and please keep your distance from me while your using blackpowder . I hate the idea of becoming a statistic because some doper somewhere wasnt thinking clearly. Yes I have been responsible for having idiots removed from events in the past and will gladly be a part of doing it again for the safety of others ., as well as keeping the event clean and in good standing so that the powers that be will let us continue the fun we so richly deserve.

I would venture to say 5" to 5 1/2" respectively for a VIP. Down to a 4" brim depending on your position in life I suppose on a Cocked Hat. ( Korne) However on a felt blank 5 to 6 I believe.

My wife is in Cebu right now .,been visiting her mother since March 25th. After going south to Negros Oriental., (Our Beach-Tropico) she took with her the tax permit and went to the provincial capital., they told her no tax had been paid on the beach since 2004., so we owed 630.00 . Needless to say she emailed me that she paid it., and now it is all caught up. This would be 300 per year at two years = 600 and a 30 penalty for non payment late fees for 2005., totalling 630.......,PESOS . Now at 53 to 1., My taxes for a coconut treed beach with a sea shore showing two opposing islands comes to a whopping 6 dollars a ten cents a year. There are currently over 100,000 Americans living there as well. I will be gone Friday night the 14th. for another 3 weeks of Scuba and checking on our progress there with the buildings.........., Man I am Sooooooooooooooooooo Gone......., Like the Jungle Book with beaches ! Man-cub !!! Here just for some fun Islands for Sale now just go look and browse thru here. Perhaps you could write to these people ; OPEC Obere Donaustrasse 93 A-1020 Vienna, Austria Mr. Umar Aminu Perhaps he could set up a meeting for you with the 11 heads of state that make up OPEC . There you would be able to ask the right people for a rate reduction on crude oil and fuel and state your case. Mission This is the best single sentance of the thread so far. Followed by Silkies I paid more in Taxes than a minimum wage worker gross all year last Feb., coupled with the quarterlys due Jan 31., and now April 31 .,I will be up to 23,000 in taxes paid since Jan 1 06. I have no savings at all from this years earnings yet.,grossed NADA for me personally after paying the bills so far this year......, But of course that now leaves the next 8 months all MINE ! With all of this said.,let me go back to Missions statement.,about making new choices. I have an 8th grade education., been on the streets since I was 14. Never got any unemployment., Welfare.,or any other public assistance of any kind ever., I am living PROOF., anyone can make it in America. If you cant make it here., you cant stand anywhere. Also I dont think our polititions control foriegn oil companies either? perhaps I am wrong and some of the companies ARE run by the Congress House and Senate., I was just unaware of it. I wish I had a better story., I hate to sound negative.,I too would like lower fuel., you bet. I am not defending them., But I will say., the rising fuel prices have not risen as fast as minimum wage has by pecentage over the last 25 years., Oil hasnt risen as fast as the cost of Cable or many other things people deem necessities. I dont want anyone mad at me., I just dont think its too bad., as a matter of fact I think we've had it easy., on many fronts here at home.
