Only two days after the release of the film, I wen' to me DVD store and found that the double-disc set had been sold out in minutes, and there were only 3 copies of the regular left. A trip to best Buy righ' after revealed they were sold ou' of the special edition too! 't seems that the special edition 2-disc set is very, very popular, so if'n you spot it, I suggest grabbin' one. Sounds t' be worth it, too! Captain Grey, there is a regular edition $20 DVD that comes in both wide and fullscreen. There is the special edition 2-disc set however, that goes for $30, and will usually only be in widescreen. Captain Wolfy Wench

I really love the MTV movie awards becuase it's more about the other things that everyone loves in films, but are afraid to make official awards for. It also seems to lean more towards what is popular AND good, rather than what seems politically to fit the awards. >_< *coughOscarscough* I am so very excited for these! I will most surely vote for PotC for nearly everything... since it was snubbed of the Best Visual Effects award at the Academy. What's the best, though, is that Depp and Bloom are moninated for best onscreen duo! OMG, it's the best official award for slash there is!! >=P Captain Wolfy Wench

Guh, I plan to be there this time! I've been askin' a friend who's a part of another ren faire group, but then me mother had an urge to go campin', so she now wants to camp out fer the weekend! Problem is, I gotta friend who has her student films up fer awards on Sunday, so I should be there fer that. Maybe. >_< Anyway, I'll be there on Saturday at least, one way or another. I've got to say, that comic is a must-see for pyrates everywhere... and not just pyrates, comicbook fans and ANYONE wif good taste! Great art, great story... I just need the subsequent chapters, arrr! Captain Wolfy Wench

Han Solo is on'y the best, mate! Anyway, I thought some of the drawings were weired just becuase they were a bit out of proportion. The artists are obviously very skillful, and are fabulous at the comicbook style illustrations, but I've nothin' to pick at the character designs. They all look better in color. Captain Wolfy Wench
