In my younger days I taped a Playboy centerfold to the back of a police car while they were eating in the now long gone Bob's Big Boy Hamburgers in Long Beach, CA., that use to be on Bellflower Blvd. Taped a picture of a weirwolf on my High Priest's door, then used masking tape and taped the door from frame to frame and then filled up the empty space with those foam peanuts as a birthday prank. On April Fools Day, my former roomate found his room full of ping pong balls, including the ones taped to the ceiling fan spinning around. They were in his bed, his dresser, his closet, on the floor, on his desk and taped to his computer. (I think I bought every ping pong ball in S. CA. for that one)

Sorry but with all the pauses of stop action, I gave up trying to watch it.

I have to tell you that the other day I went to Albertson's to buy regular things, and cruised the cereal isle. There must have at least 6 people there looking up and down for that POTC ceral - you could hear them talking about it...All I could do was laugh! So there's lots of people out there wanting that cereal (no I haven't found it yet). What's even more funnier, is when I got to the checkstand they had the POTC fruit stuff on their counters, so of course I had to buy one. Haven't tried them yet- they might pull out my teeth... A guy checking out at the stand behind me saw the stuff too and demanded the checker get him three boxes so he could buy them! Actually, I'm finding this whole thing to be rather funny! P.S. I tried the fruit snacks, they are ok, but not great. Also you only get a few in each little package- rip-off pirates!

I've been into the Hornblower Gatherings as they are called- not conventions since the beginning. (There are no dealers, no panels, no guest speakers- just a bunch of people who like Hornblower) I went to Tempe for one, I've been to Canada for one. Couldn't afford to go to England last year. I've been talkin' with those gals for many o' year. They show the movies from A & E, and funny comments are made. There's usually a poster contest and other things o' that sort.
