I don't normally watch that show, but I had to watch the one with the Wiccan gal and the normal people. Funny how that turned out, I'm glad the Wiccan family got a dose of reality, and vice versa and it all turned out really good. Depending on what's on opposite of that show will determine whether I watch it or not.

I hate to say it, but I've 'dyed documents' the very same way. I've even gone so far as to rub dirt, soot, light red food coloring (for that blood look) into the paper before and after dyeing.

Thank you all! It's really weird for me to look at a ring on the correct finger...it's been over 12 years since my divorce from the third. I swore I'd never marry again, but after all these years, I finally feel I've got the right one. Besides all the other ex's just gave me really puny diamonds (the kind you need a magnifying glass to see) that really didn't say much about the kind of people they were...I'll not go there. Anyways Boats and I are very compatable to each other and we accept each other the way we are. We have generated a family of pets instead of kids, and we are quite happy about it.

So Iron Bess you like Davey Jones....must be all those tentacles with suckers.....

gave up trying to download video stuff to watch...it took over 2 hours to download a 5 minute video that wasn't worth the time it took. so I don't attempt to watch them anymore... Gee and I thought you were talking about Santa Claus.

I just got my copy of 'Pirates' by George MacDonald on Saturday. I've heard so much about it, I just had to get it.

In the beginning this thread had promise and fun, but it has gone off into areas that just aren't within the reasons of interesting anymore. Time warps, downtown Los Angeles areas...it's totally lost it's pirate appeal... I do hope it can be regained, but for now you've lost me.

I'm sorry if I sort of mis-placed wording, dyslexic pirates do that you know... I did't mean you lumping, I meant Billy Bones just seemed to have done it. No offense to him, you, or anyone else. Yes POTC#2 is a great movie and we all understand the hard work that goes into such productions. I hope that #3 will help clear up some things that currently are unclear.

My companion Boats whom I have been with for 12 years finally gave me a real ring. It's to solidify our realationship- I gave him a beautiful ring for his birthday back in March. It's a solitare 1/3 cut Marquise diamond on a white-gold band. It's gorgeous and I just keep looking at it....ah......yea baby! I finally got a really good sized diamond! Whooo-hooooo! Just for the record, I cannot get married. If I do I will loose my SSI benefits upon which I survive- because the State and Government would assume Boats could cover my costs, which he can't. But if we ever win the lottery.... :)
