4 or so shirts would be grrrrrrrreat. I am doing this to dress people here and there as pirates when needed. So coats and what not are less needed at first then shirts and pants. However. If the coats are nice. I wouldn't mind getting a new one for myself. I have a nice coat now even though I don't do to many events in the winter. I honestly could always use leather work for swords. I wouldn't mind finding someone that would make me some sheaths in trade for steel. I have a Viking guy who I do a similar trade with from time to time.

ummmm. Not sure I have anyone that large that I travel with. I sometimes wear large pants to ren fairs and such so they may work for someone. Anyway I can get a picture or is there a website that has them on there so I can judge them? On another note. I have traded some stuff that worked out great. Now we could use some bits here and there but shirts would be great. Period if possible. I would reallllllly love some period shoes of some sort size 8.5-9.5.

I kind of need an address to ship something. I sent you a pm. I think it's highly unfair for a post like this. I am trading you a handmade awsome billhook for a crappy pair of plastic boots and I never once complained. I also had it made sitting at the booth at blackbeard hoping you would get it there. I am sorry for the delay. I am more then willing to eat the extra money for shipping to get it there before your move. I just need a shipping address. BTW if you want the boots back. I will glady send them instead of the billhook. Let me know bro. I want to make good on this. I have been running around like a chicken with it's head cut off right now trying to re-coop from my down time in the hospital. Set me back over a month.

I will be in the keys in january...I am still trying to figure out a way to get down there in December. Met a few of the PIP crew and we love them all. So I would love to get something going for that. Hang in there with me MadL. I still have not gotten my copy in the mail. I will post as soon as I do. Normally I get mine right as every else does.

That is sweet, but if I were the smith doing this I would have to do a blue stone of some sort in each of the sucky cup things.

I wouldn't mind getting in on this. Would be nice to do something for the fun of it. I tend to be an artist that only works for the sell at times.

We have run into these guys quite a few times during our travels. We even shared a plain ride form Atlana to New Orleans this past year. Big fans we are. They work a crowd like none other.

I've typed out my thoughts here. Heh, you've got a strict censor on your site so that "documents" became "do***ents". :angry: Hey Mate. Loved your input. Thanks for posting it. I have been trying to think of a way to do something on the PUB. Maybe even a regular column of sorts where everyone or crew takes a turn submiting an article by or about them. Might be doable.

BTW. We at Pirates Mag value all of your opinions. We try to make a magazine for all pirate lovers not just re-enactors, but we reallly want alot in there for the re-enactors. If you ever want to suggest anyting please feel free to do so. We encurage any and everyone to stop by our message boards on PiratesMagazine.com and post your ideas. That way not just me sees it. Our whole staff reads those boards.

Perhaps there is a way you can scratch our backs and we could return the favor. I think a little brainstorming here and there and we could get enough crews onboard to make it work.

How could I foget? We love your stuff.

Gosh I would love to do that, but I only ever heard from a few crews and I made them the best of deals and no one took me up on it. Pages cost money and I am willing to do it for the least possible. Let me know folks. I wanted to do more then a classified. I wanted to give classified prices for full color pictures. If we could get a handfull together we could make it a full page add for the crews of PyracyPub. That would rock.

This thread should become a sticky. Here is our newest addition.

We have added several new columns to attend to such a need. Not a regular one yet for clothing. It is on the top of our list. You should check out the summer of 2007 back issue. There is a great long article on textiles. I had hoped to got the forum member that goes by Gentleman of Fortune to do such a column. Love some if his work on his website.

FYI there will be a page or so in the upcoming issue of Pirates Magazine about the festival. I still need to upload the video of the parade.

Hell's Bells! I didn't know B&N sold 'em too. My local one never has them, hence my buying at Borders (which is further from home). I know of a store manager needing a long walk down a short plank! You know that you all can save yourselves the trips and just subscribe or order the back issues on the website right ? Also I totally forgot to mention something... There is a awsome 2 page review on the POTC online game by our very own Bilgemunky. We are happy to have him aboard on this issue once again. Don't know if you cought his last review or not. Well done sir.

You guys crack me up. Subscribers should get it in no longer the 2 weeks. 10-14 days. Check the local book stores a little before that. Keep hounding those book stores to order more magazines. We are in many more stores now but I am still not happy with the amount of mags they order. Seems we get 2-6 emails a day saying that they are sold out at their local Barnes and Noble.
