The Festival is under new leadership. Don't personaly know much about the details of that. All that I know is that its a fun show.

The Florida Pirate Festival's Website ! the Florida Pirate Festival Rocks ! I hope anyone that has the chance to attend makes the effort. The Magazine did this festival last year at coachmens Park. This year it will be at a much better location and we are all verry excited. We will be there with magazines and swords. be sure to stop by and say hi. Its right outside of Tampa.

Let me tell you, there is no better place for a Pirate Party like this. Last year had its issues but it still was amazing to see the streets of New Orleans filled with Pirates in arms. If anyone wants to see some pictures from last years event/parade checkout our myspace. Pyrate Con 2007 pics

any of you stop by the "Age of Chivalry" booth ? they have alot of import stuff but they carry alot of our stuff. would kill for a pic of thier booth.

custom and semi customs but everything they have is forsale. I get to make alot of cool stuff and ship it to Brady at Age of Chivalry and they sell it for me :)

I have swords forsale there through Age of Chivalry. Alot of nice pirate cutlasses and sabers. I believe they also have a few pirate themed rapiers. they should still have some steel shields too. if you stop by to look at them make sure you tell them that Matt from Baltimore sent you.

sadly....well not so sadly buttttt anyway...I got suprised with tickets and a paid trip to Miami this weekend so I will miss the invasion. there will still be several Pirates Magazine people there if you wish to meet and greet.

I assume that you are talking about Scott and gang at the pirates den. They are who i set up with the magazine. Good people. He also runs the Florida pirate festival formaly out of clearwater. Scott runs alot of man powered rides at faires all over as well. I did the Florida Pirate Festival last year with the gang and I will def be doing it next year. If Scott is the one who approached you then I would go for it. Lots of fun in FL and Lots o' Rum.

I like this guy. If ever in need of "real" blades. look me up. frokm custom to semi custom I gotcha covered.

we recently got to stock them up with some pirate cutlasses that ring like crazy. its must be fun being inside hearing all those blades singing !

we are selling alot of pirate cutlasses through War horse productions...aka the jousters at that fair. be sure to stop in and say hey to Barb and Kelly(the owners).

well thats a better shot of the blade... as far as the girl goes...not sure I can help you out with that....not sure I can't either

well be sure to check out august. That was a sword made by yours truely...shame it is mostly covered up because the blade was something special.

hey mates, Pirates Magazine got an early screening of Stardust to try and see if we could use Robert Dinero for the cover. Dinero played an awsome roll. Funney and whitty like we have never seen Robert....butttttt if any of you have seen the movie may know...we couldnt use him for the cover. We felt that the pirate world in general would be a bit angered to have a cross dressing pirate captain on the cover. that being said...brilliant roll and he played it perfectly !

i Would def pay to see a crew battle...fictional pirates vr Historical ones. ' lots of gun fire ! I have noticed over the years of doing fairs that everytime a pirate lets off a powder blast or two a crowd soon gathers. so i would try and work in as many safe firings as poss. even several camps set up shooting back and forth. that way each camp could have there own set up with vendors and such. It would be fun too see each camp have a color or something and try to recruit the patrons to support their colors. I dont know I am brain storming but I can tell you that the type of people that attend pirate shows as walk ins always want to be apart of the show somehow or join a group. Pirates seem to win the hearts of the crowd when having fun and being loud.

We had a blast wit our hosts at "the pirate den" big thanks to Klause,Scott,applebooteh and Captain Sharky for all the good times. dont miss out next year. The smell of black powder and the sound of sharp steel all day long in one cove. if intrested. there are many more photos of the event posted on the pirates magazine Myspace. check 'em out !

I sell swords there through Capricorn Cutlery but I haven't made an solid plans of going this year. i was at Sterling a few weeks back...We will see. I love the show and always try to make it.

Pirates Magazine will be set up there. Just look for the pirates den and you will surely find us. Magzines and Swords ... how can you beat that ?
