  1. My Steel will be there but alass I doubt I will be able to make it. Look for my work at the Age of Chivalry booth. Ask for the "Slayers"
  2. If not. I recorded it and would be happy to burn a DVD for ya mate. There was alot of good Leather stuff found. Who will be first to pull a pattern of the boots ?
  3. Our website is quite a bit lacking right now, but we do make over 50 different pirate swords. We also loveee to personalize swords for each indivisual. That way everyone gets a one of a kind piece. We also work straight from pictures. Like we always say..."if you can draw it, we can make it" Feel free to send us a picure of an original and let us work form that. We specialize in stage combat weaponry, but we do make sharps aswell. I feel that we have kept our prices lower then most custom/semi custom makers so feel free to email us for a quote. cheers, Matt
  4. First off I agree with you John 100%. Been a LOST fan since day one. From what little that gets leaked our way, I can tell you that if and only if there is a 4th POTC that Will and Liz will be in it but only as minor roles. It will feature Captain Jack and Barbosa doing what they do best. So if my sources are correct everyone will be getting what they want, but rumors of cutting Mr. and Mrs. Turner out all together are just that...rumors. I still don understand why there hasn't been another High budget Pirate Movie since the POTC movies captured the world. I mean come on.
  5. It was a great show. I watched it form start to finish. I even took notes hehe. I do have to agree with Josh about the lack of footage. It seemed they repeated the same reenactor footage over and over. I was blown away at how many cannons they found. That was one hell of an armed ship. The pistol that was found and restored was an absolute treasure. I was also intrigued by the FreeMason symbol that was scribed into several objects. Kind of neat to see that tie in with pyracy. Here is the mentioned shoe that was found... (God, I hope someone gets a pattern off this bad boy) Here is one of the gold rings found. All in all I think that it was a great show. The underwater footage was wurth the 2 hour wait alone. I being a weaponsmith defentaly was glued to the screen. I even had to re-heat my tea 3 times before I finished one cup.
  6. I am playing a pirate on Rackham and a Freetrader (I only played a few times, I think on Bonny). The pirate is currently stuck at level 10 because I don't have time to play due to a new obsession of facebook- however I am March Harbour and her name is Brianna Townshend. That goes for anyone else playing, let me know where you are playing that way we can maybe establish a slightly more period group of economy. Sounds good. If I like it I am sure I will play it often. I tend to game more then I should.
  7. I would Lovvvvvvvvvve to attend this year. I believe I have a a previously scheduled event that week. However, Pirates Magazine is a big supporter of this event and we hope to make it out to see the site and wish everyone the best of weather and turnout.
  8. They are sending me my copy to review for the magazine. I will let you all know how it goes.
  9. What a great guy to do that. I mean he has the power to make soooO many kids smile. Glad to see he uses it.
  10. Drop me a Private message or an email 1stmate@baltimoreknife.com and I will get you taken care of.
  11. Here is a shot of me in my fantasy get up in Florida back in november. The hat is a custom piece by pyrate leather worx. All the metal work was done by me. The sword, dagger, jewlery and the buckle. I am now working on my period garb though it is tough to turn back to a period look after my Sarah Juniper boots were stolen . Once I get to the point that I need to think about period footwear I think that I am going to cry. Heck , maybe one day I will find my old boots.
  12. Hey that is awsome ! I too did an apple themed pirate gaurd for a sword that I made me lady friend. Alot of time into that piece of yours. It looks GREAT !
  13. Vinegar works. You have to watch it close though. If you don't know exactly what type of brass it is the vinegar can eat it right away. Also be sure to check and make sure that its not plated. If its plated then I would go with the citrus for as little time as possible.
  14. If these Ladies are truely behind it. I am sure it will come out cheeky but not sleezy in anyway. I met them both last year and I have to say they are 2 classy girls. "Fabulous" !
  15. I need to add that everyone here at Pirates Magazine is a huge fan of No Quarter Given and of Jamaica Rose. We treasure being able to working with her as much as we do and wish we worked with her more.
  16. As an assistant editor of Pirates Magazine I can tell you all that we are still the worlds premiere pirate magazine. We tried for several issues to get away from the POTC topic but when Dave Nichols from Easy Rider expressed that he wanted to do a Jack write up we couldn’t say no. I mean come on. Dave Nichols an editor of Easy Rider wanted to write for us. I have seen certain people try to say that we are copying. Don't forget that Pirates Magazine was the first full color high quality Mag on the market. All you have to do is open our magazine and you can see that the additions we made were of the highest taste. We use the best photographers out there. Yes we have added a column by the lovely Sacrlett Harlott and plan on working with her more and more. We try to offer the best magazine out there for you all to enjoy. We are sorry that there have been delays. I assure you that is in the past. It was one issue that got stalled and delayed due to many unfortunate factors. We have a new team working on the magazine now to assure that won't happen again. The reason we have the magazine at shows awhile before subscribers do is that we drive 4 hours to pick up a few boxes at the printer hot off the press. We do that so that we can give everyone a sneak peak of the new rag. From day one we have refused to take cheap shots at any other magazine and we stick by that. Thank you all for making Pirate Magazine the highest distributed pirates magazine out there by far!
  17. Last year it was quite fun checking in a box with a dozen custom pirate swords in it. Everyone got quiet when they asked me "whats in the box" and I answered "swords". Never had any issue with it though. They don't seem to like the black powder pistols in Tampa but I had no trouble with them last year in New Orleans.
  18. Pirates Magazine finally made it official. We will be there and have a booth next to our Southern California Brethren. We always planned on attending but we decided to show up in full force. Look for an Add of the event in the upcoming issue of Pirates Magazine. We had a blast last year in New Orleans and Can't wait to see old friends and meet plenty new comrads. We had to show up to support our girl Scarlett and can't wait to give burbon street hell...again! Visit Pirates Magazine Online to join the Crew
  19. ya we got some awsome pictures of the fire show too. fun times !
  20. you lucky dog...I had my Sarah Juniper boots stolen last year after piratecon. I try not to think about it. One of the most depressing events in my life nice shoes btw
  21. Looks like alot of fun was had by all. Sorry that we didn't get a chance to make it out. Had alot of things come up We would love to talk in advance about future events.
  22. well I have now talked to both sides about the split. Alot of BS going on but when it all boils down, there will be the fall show that has always gone on and the old crew will be getting a new show together for the spring. We will try and support both shows as much as we can. All I know is that our Kegs, Rum and magazines are already at the show and the skull jewlery and swords are own their way. Its colddddddd here in Maryland and I cant wait to get to Tampa. come help us kill all of our Drinks
  23. I know that its late in the game to ask this, but we are very local to this event. Any idea of Vendors are welcome or if there is someone that I can contact about supporting this event ? Let me know.
  24. I highly recommend attending this event if at all possible. How could any pirate pass up the opportunity to walk down Bourbon street pistols and swords in hand. You will feel like a celebrity as every bachelor/et party asks to take a picture with you and your crew. The Click Clack of boots can be heard for blocks and blocks. I will cherish those kinds of memories from last year much more then the actual event. Some pictures of last years even can be seen on the Pirates Magazine's myspace. Video Story Board of last years event coming soon. Give me a week and it will be up on the Videos on the myspace.
