Ive known a few hardcore bikers in my day. I have lived near two different bars that are quite teritorial. I have noticed that the members of a biker gang act similar to a pirate crew. There is a ranking system and things are spread out evenly(most of the time) between the members. Just a thought...

I just may show up. I have an event at my sword shop the weekend before so I am sure I could use a night of mehem with my lady. I will spread the word around on myspace and other forums/blogs.

No Dave. Klaus was there Saturday and Sunday and Sarah and I came up Sunday.

I just got back from the Winter Market put on by Dave Mantz. I had a good time. Not too many people came out this year but it was still fun. I got a chance to touch base with the lovely people from Reconstructing History and a few fellow sword makers. That was fun. There were plenty of beautiful fire arms. I love the engraved muskets. I didn’t have much time to browse but I did get a chance to catch up with a lot of people. This is the last year that they will be having the event in that location and maybe ever. It all depends on if another place is available during that part of the year. I talked to Dave quite a bit about another he wants to put on in august and is looking anyone local to the PA area to be apart of it. I myself only had a few small pieces on display. I have a pistol barrel that I hand fluted that I was showing off. Seems a lot of people are encouraging me to start doing more fire arms and I excited about doing just that. I picked up some good material while I was there to make some slops out of. Sarah picked up some sweet vertically striped socks. Neat. I also grabbed some of the awesome honey on my way out of the door. Anyone else make it out there from the pub ? Find anything cool? I know spending was tight for most people but more often then not the treasures that you find in a place like that are not costly.

That's a nice example. Certainly has seen some use. Always have been a fan of those massive blades.

Yea I have a blacksmith event here at my shop at the end of March and I am hosting a few guys from SoCal. We were all supprised by how cheap the airfair was. Lucky I guess. Who all is coming out from Cali that you know? We have 9 of our Cali Press Gang so far but I knew that quite a few others were coming. I am hoping to pull a few friends up from FL too. We will see. I went to trim my beard last night and I couldn't find me clippers. Might be a sign to let it grow till April. I dont knwo though. I have gotten used to eating a hamburger without getting crap all over my face. I may be "Matt the Shorn" this go around.

Anyone catch this? Im not a fan of the show but it was neat to see Pirates Charles getting some nice air time with their music. I saw Klaus walk by in one seen an d Scarlett and Talderoy hogged the camera most of the time. I also saw quite a few moew faces that I knew on the street. It gave you a glimps of the fun part of the Con...the out side scene on the streets! All in all...neat.

Yea I think I will go ahead and get one just to see how nice I can customize it. If it turns out how I hope then I will be customizing quite a few I think.

While in LA this past fall for the TLAPD day event I got a chance to go to DL with some close friends and ride the POTC ride for the first time. I have to say my favorite part of the exp was going with Scarlett the Harlott and laughing our butts off when kids came up to her for autographs thinking she was the red head. Cracked me up. We have some pictures. I will have to share them.

One of my main sword dealers is now carrying some fire arms too. All I know is that they come in a kit and someone up north is putting them together for them. I asked if he would be into trading some swords for a few and the first one I am into is the big boy. I was hoping someone might be able to identify the kit and if it is decent. I do trust my dealer and he syas they fire great and that he has one himself that he often uses. I just thought I would ask. I have plenty of black powder firearms but this would be my first blunderbuss. Any info would help. If it is as nice as I hope, I plan on getting several and customizing them. Adding some gems here or some engraving there. Just hoping its a good enough starting point. Cheers,

I wrote a review of this game in the winter '08 issue. I played for awhile. Enjoyed it. I stopped but I would be up for playing again if more of you do.
