There be a group up in MN... alas, I haven't been able to get ahold of them at all. Oh.. if I may be willin' t' ask... whereabouts are ya? I know another pirate that be closer up towards the MN/Canadian border. They would eventually love t' join the lot of us... IF they would be able & willing to do so. Bloody HELL! Do we NEED to get together for a HUGE Invasion! :)

He brought... the dog! & the lot is still standing? Still a puppy, isn't she? A black Lab... :) I can see how it fits him... however.. I'm sure that the lab - can't remember the dog's name - has keep him on his toes A LOT! I've had black labs before... it's like trying to control a tornado! I hope he has someone with that dog 24/7. Trained or not... Reminds me when my 2nd cousin from Arizona came up in '90 .. Sadie got loose... he was chasing her for 2 hours straight.... tried to tell him that you CANNOT catch the dog. Why do I envision Orlando running through the lot chasing that dog. ................................ I'd be adoring the dog, too, Bess! I miss my Sadie dog (huskie/lab mix). Though .. miss my Sandy doggie more so. Anyway... Maria! As to food... it's a wonder that it doesn't poison them! It's more WHEN do we have the time to eat! Generally I always find it a hard to stop & eat anyway... & I'm not one of those high-paid peeps. Normal life... :: groans:: Always thinking of Jimmy Buffett songs, singing "Pina Colada" by Garth Brooks & "5 o'clock somewhere" by Alan Jackson & Jimmy Buffett.

Heard that someone from Iowa was killed in that bombing that killed over 100 in Iraq that other day. Anyways... again, welcome the lot home for th' rest of us. :) Oooh, Pete... Very cool, Mission. I don't do man projects.. not much time & not much money to blow. Even asked if they (Suncoast) could order "Blackbeard the Pirate" with Robert Newton for me. :: Shakes head::: nope... it's not available! can you believe that? They wouldn't go over & beyond to do what they can. I ALWAYS get this! I usually do that.. no matter where I work.. I go over & beyond to make sure someone is helped & serviced. Course.. this is the same place that told me that they were not getting these in. I just want to slap the lot of these people. Well... I admit.. I will be getting Jack & Will. Cannot wait for the others to come out in Oct.. & hopefully it will be Oct. I'm thinking about getting an extra Elizabeth & kinda mke a custom from her.. unless I find another female figure I can use.

Aye... a fine piece it be. There be something erie & spooky about a woman who's name means "Resurrection"... & she holds a piece of Aztec Gold!

I won't name name's .. but I've heard it a few times from a variety of people... & they are PotC fans! Sad, is it not? I've seen them all.. & the PotC figures I think look much alike to the characters. Especially the 7" Jack.. whoa, does he!

That's what I did, Christine. I didn't care much for that little fluff on his hat.. so.. I removed it... bought a small package of feathers at the local craft store... picked out the feathers I wanted to use that would work well with the hat to make it look like the real bunch of feathers on the real hat. Looks fabulous! :) Now.. just to work on that missing ear that supposed has the earring. I'm looking at what to use to make that earring. ooooh would I LOVE to have an 18" of Barbossa.. though... would like to have the clothes made of cloth... where you can remove them... make new outfits for him... & yes, there is a piece of me that wants him to be anatomically correct. :: innocent look:: As to the pickiness of the figures.... well.. it just annoys me when people are "they look nothing like the actors/characters.." I just want to slap them. Well.. think of it this way... Buy nothing, no more treasure. Frankly.. I WANT THE POTC STUFF!!!

Aye.. there are 882 pieces all together in that stone chest. So.. if you have 3 of them... all you need is 879 pieces more! :)

I can't really be too picky on the subject of the figures.. cause if this bombs, then the future of them would be in jeopardy, that's for sure. I'm rather thrilled with Barbossa. I admit... they all look rather good for being action figures. It annoys me greatly as to how picky people get abot figures now. Umm.. I remember the old action figures.. like the first Star Wars action figures & even the early 80's GI Joes... Umm.. yeah... I CANNOT complain about the PotC figures. These kick aft! Though... the feather on Will's & Barbossa's hats.. could either have been the plastisized.. or add a few more. Prefer the plastic type. But... I'll be adding a few more to make it look a little better. That thin black fluff just doesn't look right.

Squee!!! Ahhh.. thank ye kindly! Ye've made this piratess a VERY happy piratess indeed! Ne'er could I tire of Barbossa. More.. more I say! :) Curious to see what Elizabeth will look like though. Which outfit she will wear. Hopefully the Barbossa dress.

I have one of those double sided key rings that you can place a little wallet size photo in... I have a pic of Barbossa on one side. ::le sigh; le swoon:: Oh! .. I mentioned this a few places... but I have spoted the PotC figures at the local Suncoast here in Cedar Rapids! They look FABULOUS! I was HIGHLY impressed. A friend of mine doesn't believe they look like the characters... but I say they are spot on! Well.. worth the 12 for them. :) So if you have a Suncoast or MediaPlay... check them out. I didn't see them at the Hot Topics here, or Spencers. I haven't checked out Toys R Us.. yet. I have Barbossa on hold for me until I pick him up on Wed. :: Evil grinz:: sounds a little erie, doesn't it?

I have waited a LONG time - ok, over a year - to get ahold of one. & now.. I do. Worth the wait. As I mentioned... mine was sent to me by a fellow pirate. Part of my payment for a fine dress that I made for them. I wear mine constantly now ahhh.. I heard of the silver one. Oooh, would be VERY nice to get hold of the silver one as well! For silver means "death".. brass means "resurrection".. an' gold obviously means "deity". Hey.. Mr. Arenberg's not that bad looking.. I'll side with Keira on that one! :) If it be a cursed coin that brings in that lot of gents... I wouldn't mind.

I don't know if I can get ahold of another El Fantasma... I have him but won't give him up. I'll see if I can get one. Otherwise.. if you are able to... there is a chat list specifically for Pirates of the Spanish Main/Crimson Coast/Revolution on Yahoogroups. Trading is done there & I have gotten a good few ships & characters via those gracious gents on the list. Including El Fantasma. Pirates of the Spanish Main CSG I have who I want.... El Fantasma & the Ghost crew, Calico Cat, Blackheart, Genny Gallows & her Red Rampage... Gaspar Zuan & Fidel The Harbringer, Revenant, Shadow, Revenge...pretty much all the pirate ships except the El Ballista & the Bloody Throne. I still need those 2. Looking forward to Crimson Coast which will be out March 2nd. Thus far, I want Crimson Angel(character) & the Deliverance(ship - ghost ship to be exact).

I know a few out there have posted getting them... But.. I'd figured making this more.. "Official" I'M LOVING IT! A pirate friend of mine got it for me... & it's just fabulous! Alas, the Master Replicas site if down for the moment... but.. it's available in various places... I have yet to find it around here. I wear it all the time. At first .. no recognition.. but.. nearly every day.. someone recognizes it... "It's the Aztec gold!" .. "It's the gold from Pirates!" Kids love it more so... they want one! I hope it's put out in more places locally... cause otherwise.. people will not know it's available.. & no one will buy it. To have a look see... BigBadToystore online has them Aztec Gold

ehhh I figured as much. I never go to it.. but a few people I know do... I don't usually rely upon it's accuracy.. since I have to agree.. I have found it often wrong... Especially about upcoming films. Cool. Thanx, Grey... There was someplace I heard about a supposed storyline.. which I read & LOVED it.. can't wait to see it... I haven't really said anything about it.. other than there will be sequels.. you should see the faces light up on people.. & kids!

Hmmm.. how odd. True enough one can order the online. Hope & wish ya luck there. But.. otherwise... gaming stores should carry them... like places where you role playing diehards would go in to a specialty gaming store that sells nothing but Warhammer pieces, sets... YuGiOh & Magic cards.. even Star Wars cards & figure pieces... Or whatever those other silly little tiny model like pieces so as to use them for playing out a story or whatever. If they don't carry them... I'd be shocked. Truthfully. We've a couple gaming stores here - Battlezon, Video Games, Etc, Mak's Collectibles.... They all have them & can't hardly keep them in stock. Well.. again.. I wish ya luck. It's well worth getting. The ships are fabulous. That require care but well worth having.
