Ah Patrick that is way too cool. Can I come help you decorate? I could talk to the ghost for ya. Wow! What a treat you are gonna have. Don't forget to ask the ghost for help in decorating. I am sure she will appreciate it. Ghosts sometimes like to be included on things....especially decorating.

Thanks for the laugh Silkie.

Some one once told me "I was going to hell cause of my beliefs"....my reply was..."How can I go some where I don't believe in?" The Universe is one large book with many beliefs.....all are related just looked at differently.

Ah, HildeKitten what is your time difference? I am usually on or can be when ever. At the moment I am taking care of the house and wee lad. I am hoping soon though to find my way back to the adult world. I love the wee one, but "Mommy" needs to save some of her sanity ......

I am glad you got to spend time with her. Please let me know tomorrow what the vet says.....I am here if you need me. Don't forget to call if you need to. Aye, BraveHeart is very emotional for me. I long for Scotland and Ireland. Like a homesickness at times. And the ending is very romantic cause She comes back for him and he sees her and knows it is okay to die. I am sure I will be crying by the end tonight....must remember to wear my waterproof mascara.

Round two tantrum came and went and now....silence...except for a wee voice saying "Mommy"......I guess he is not goin' to nap after all.

I am looking forward to tonight...spending a good time with friends. It will be fun all of us getting together as a post-pennsic meeting to watch BraveHeart and of course have a few drinks as well. Lily, how is your poor pup doing? Is she fairing any better? I am still saying prayers for both of you. Thank you Salty for your humble opinion. I did pick up a color sample of the claret....we just need now to decide now between all of the samples we picked out between us.

Some other things I enjoy collecting are the holiday cherished teddies and snowbabies.....especially the one's for Halloween and Christmas. And I have an old collection of Unicorns from my childhood that I have out right now on my one hutch. Oh, and bottles...any size, shape or color...I love bottles....I have a bunch of them decorating our mantle in the living room. -
Mmmm, right now I am drinkin' a nice cold glass of Miller Genuine Draft.....tastey and refreshing on a hot and humid night. My favorite beer though be Killian's Red or Corona with a slice of lime.

Just got done making my famous Beer-Cheese Dip. We are going tomorrow night to our friends house to watch "BraveHeart". It is our post-pennsic get together. WhoooHoooo!!!

The distant roll of thunder as the pending storm blows in.....I can't wait to stand out on our victorian covered porch and watch the storm.

Thanks for the advice Jill. I will have to look and see if I can find that color. We aren't quite sure what colors yet, but we are going with a Native American motif I think.

Excited....Dorian and I are going to go look at paint samples so we can redo our bedroom.....WhoooHooo!

Here is one of me Favorite poems: Mice I think are rather nice. Their tails are long, Their faces small, They haven't any Chins at all. Their ears are pink, Their teeth are white, They run about The house at night. They nibble things They shouldn't touch And no one seems To like them very much. But I think mice are nice. Poem by Rose Fyleman

Cool Picture Lily. Thanks for the laugh. I actually like rats and mice I think they are adorable. So I am not sure if I could eat one. However my grandmother has some old recipes for Opossum, rabbit and squirrels. I will have to get them off of her sometime and post them.

You may want to give a brief overview on some of the more famous pirates and privateers. Children are often interested in learning about historic figures especially if they have an interest in the subject. Another thought to is to include some of the legend and lore of the sea...even perhaps a ghost story....Children love that kind of stuff. I used to teach at an elementary school working with children from K thru 4th grade in the Special Learning Skills Program and Emotional Support Program. Anyway, the one way we would capture their interests was by teaching them about historic figures that were important to the subject being taught. And they enjoyed stories that included legend and lore as well. Just something to think about. Hope that helped a bit.

What's your favorite smell???
BriarRose Kildare replied to Capt. Marcus Keys's topic in Beyond Pyracy
The smell of Fresh Lemonade The smell of Christmas.....the scents of candy canes, ginger cookies, pine and turkey dinner. The smell of Easter....the scents of candy in the easter baskets...marshmellow peeps, peanut butter eggs, and hot cinnamon buns. The smell of slightly burnt toast and coffee. The smell of my Grandfather...he always wore Old Spice...and he smelled of pipe tobbaco and fresh brewed coffee and freshly cut roses that were his pride and joy....I miss him so very much. -
1) One thing you ate today a cheese sandwhich with american and swiss cheese and miricale whip on and egg bun 2) One thing you saw today (big or small) Willow our one cat being so cuddlely sweet with those big gold eyes. 3) Name of a person you spoke to Shelly 4) Name of a person you thought of but didn't see Mark (may he always be at rest in the summerland)
