I been watchin' the Evilbay fer many years now. Never seen an affordable one that did't say it rolls or half the sound track is missin'. Good ones seem ta go fer $150 an up. The big question is will the new one be available in standard DVD or will people have ta upgrade to a newfangled blue ray player? Bess?

Was perusin' through the used book store an found a copy of the old Osprey series entitled "Pirates 1740-?". In the color plates was print of what Mr. Welsford must have been thinkin' about when he drew up his plans. It looks to be @50-60 feet long, single square rigged mast wi' a boom. This one DOES have cabins or staterooms in the stern.

High twenties in the early mornin'. Bout 50-60 in the afternoon. Me knees don't like but tis a nice change from the summer heat.

Morgan Dreadlocke replied to Captain Bob's topic in Captain Twill
There is, but it be a subscription site. www.woodcraftmagazine.com. The articles name was Illuminating History by Ken Weaver. Its a tad shorter than the one posted by Bloody Jack. It appears that most people are makin 'em to fit whatever glass they has available. -

Davis an Modine be hangin' offen ropes outside the treasure cave in one scene. The pilfered chest is tied to the rope below Modine. As they leggo the rope to escape from Dog, where does the treasure chest be disappearin' too? It surren as hades ain't on the end 'o the rope no more

Came across "Return to Treasure Island" at the 2nd hand store. Tis the sequal to Disney's Treasure Island but is not a Disney production. Robert Newton reprises his role as Long John. The plot seems ta be a mishmash rearrangement 'o the original wi' a few new faces thrown in. Saw Apocolypto a few weeks back. Kept gettin' flashbacks of James Brolin in a beat up car escapin' from the evil semi. Didn't care fer it. A History of Violence- I wants me money back Sad excuse fer entertainment.

An interesting snippet of water depth- "Between 1620 and 1624 he successfully manoeuvred his craft at depths of from 12 to 15 feet (four to five meters) beneath the surface during repeated trials in the Thames River." Full artical at Drebble's submarine

Getting dirty or how not look brand new
Morgan Dreadlocke replied to Littleneckhalfshell's topic in Captain Twill
I'm about to go outside an experiment with pool acid and bleach on some scraps. Past experiences says bleach will leave white or lighter colored frizz around any holes it produces. Hoping the pool acid won't disturb the colors. Ya wanna distress that shirt? Eat a few jack in the box tacos whilst driving cross town
