Sometimes it's a picture from Burning Man.... and sometimes it's a picture that I can't post.... Wellllll I found a photo of a nekid woman only wearin' a SWAT combat harness and pointin' a .45 that I though was really funny.... Yeah... I know... it's really immature of me.... but it's still a funny picture.....

DANG..... it's snowing again ! And this is suppose to be a really BIG storm...... Well the mystery about the shovel has been sorta solved..... Before this last buncha snow, Miquell (Carol's ex) used my shovel, and left it somewhere outside the Restaurant ... on the ground... so I won't find it until Spring.... SO I was using a shovel I got from Carols.... to dig everything out at the Restaurant...The front steps, the back door, and the other back door to the kitchen.... (The parking lots gets snow plowed.... NO WAY am I (or could I) shovel alla that....) Friday night Nacho (the cook) sees the shovel I'm using, and tells me that Scottie had lent it to him last Winter, so obviously, Miguell had taken it to Carols... So Nacho was going to take it home with him.... So yesterday, I'm without a shovel.... so now I can't dig everything out.... Because I didn't have a shovel, I couldn't dig out the back door to the kitchen... so Nacho couldn't step outside for a smoke..... Last night Nacho tells me that he didn't take the shovel home... He left it outside by the back door....NOW under a huge snow drift from alla the snow that fell offa the roof..... SO it's snowing again.... wonder if Nacho or Miguell will bring a shovel so one of them can dig everything out, and find at least one shovel... cause without a shovel, I can't dig anything out right now......

I'm kinda peeved.... I got drafted to waRsh dishes..... but the water heater broke last night, so I couldn't work.... So I hadda go in this afternoon to waRsh alla the dishes.... And then waRsh them again in about half an hour...... Just gotta let the water heater get th' water hot again..... I used it all up doing last nights dished today...... And I get to shovel alla the snow that fell offa th' roof.... again...... Didn't get anything else done today.....

A pardon.... ? But I didn't just break wind again.....

SLUT..... I think Cannibal Chrispy set that one up just so I could post that.....

I was born in California, and now live up in the Sierra Nevada Mountains (California) .... at 4000 feet.... Give you three guesses why I hate snow.....

Wot...? we're suppose ter out grow that..... No one ever tells me these things......

Have I mentioned lately that I HATE SNOW...... For the past week, it snows, we get everything dug out (well except for my car) and then it snows again.... So I shovel everything out.... and it snows again..... I HATE SNOW....

DUST......Lottsa dust.... Huge honkin Dust storms..... ooh... sorry, that's from the Burning Man thread in Airship Pyrates......

I have no problem carrying my Blunderbuss, but here in California, if I added a folding bayonet (a stabbing weapon) it would then be illegal..... We have some really weird laws here.......

This isn't really camping gear, but gifting is a part of Burning Man... So this year, I'm going to make a buncha cotton scarves that I can hand out... Not only do they look so dang dashing, but they will come in handy to cover your face in a dust storm.....I figure that will be appreciated... Right now, I'm trying to figure out how to make the framework for a sun shelter... it has to be transportable, and stable... I think I have most of it figured out.... now to get the stuff and build it....

I've got to stop futzing around and get to work finishing my Airship Pyrate stuff.... The light blue denim jophers will work, Red Handed Jill sent me a pair of German snow gators that are really cool, I'm thinking of using them as a pattern to make two more pair that are even higher, calf high with lots of buckles.... Add eppelets to the combat vest, and a decreateive shoulder rope... and finish the leather flight cap.... I wanna make a leather utility belt, and a small pack that looks like an old fashioned parachute... and weapons... I gotta lot to do if I want to go see Abney Park mid-March.......

And my almost finished Goggles.... The mono-goggle was part of a Mad Scientist costume for Halloween.... Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of the costume.... The top pair started out as standard ( $10 ish ) welders goggles. I painted the insides black, and then covered the outsides with thin leather... I cut down the lens rings, so they aren't so thick, but now I have to sand them more and re-gild them (with imitation gold leaf) I might sand off the ridges around the outside, so they don't look like as much like cut-down welders goggles.... I know some people replace the strap with leather, but I like the wide elastic better.... they fit nicer with elastic... but I did make the buckles and fittings from some brass rod...

I organized my Photoshop files.... (hopefully alla the pictures that I've already posted still link right....) Some of this has already been posted, but I'm posting them all here for easier viewing....

That's cute.... but there is something very disturbing about where the pole is piercing that one peep......

OK... I don't get the reference..... Sorry, but a quick Goggle didn't turn anything up either..... SO what happened....? A link to what you were typing about wouldda been kind nice......
